Is it safe to use "oil control" products, like matifiers or poweders, or any products designed to reduce oiliness? Has anyone done any research or heard anything regarding this issue? I get oily skin, but I am anxious about using something that prevents the skin from naturally releasing oil. Anyone???

They dont reduce oil, they just kind of absorb as much as they can i believe, therefore i wouldnt worry about using them as they dont prevent the skin from releasing oil.
