The moderating team has recently had an upswing in the amount of threads and posts that have been reported. We'd like to take this time to clarify what the "Report" tool is for.

The "Report" button is to be used ONLY for reporting objectionable content, such as violations of the board rules.

The "Report" button is NOT to be used as a method of communicating with moderators for other reasons, such as social messages, general commentary on posts or threads, or to suggest that threads be moved to different boards. We appreciate those of you who have been trying to help by reporting misplaced threads, but this is not what the "Report" tool is for.
