I've had acne for a few years now (i'm 18) and recently, I went to the doctor to finally deal with it. He gave me a prescription for clindoxyl gel, as well as a bunch of small tubes of this stuff called Retisol-A.

Now, I do get acne from time to time, but to be honest, it's not all that severe, and it's only a few bumps here and there.

However, the problem I do have is redness. My face if pretty red, especially my nose, the area under my eyes and around my nostrils and chin. I also have some dark spots around my cheek.

I've done some research, and apparently the retisol-A stuff helps get rid of redness, but I have no experience with it. The pharmacist told me to use clindoxyl at night and retisol-a in the morning, but it seems like overkill using both, so I was wondering if anyone here had experience with it.

Anyone have advice as to what I should do?

Hey, I have been using Clindoxyl for about 5 years now. It's good but not GREAT... I went to the derm and he prescribed me Retisol-A for the morning and Clindoxyl for night as well. I haven't tested it out yet, let me know how ur progress goes!
