Hey, guys, i was wondering if you could recommend to me any gel moisturiers, or general moisturisers you find very beneficial to you.
I did use the 'olay active hydrogel' which was such the perfect moisturiser, however for some unknown reason they discontinued it, which im soo unhappy about.
Therefore ive been trying out a few moisturisers to no great effect. The one im using now is called 'paulas choice skin balancing moisture gel' however this still isnt moisturising enough for me as skin still feels kinda tight.
I mentioned the gel moisturiser specifically, due to lotion type moisturisers not being moisturising at all for me, plus the cream type ones dont normally absorb really well, and not great for me with oily skin.
Thanks in advance for all your suggestions, also may add im from england so may not be able to get some products that some get in the US.

When my skin gets dehydrated (every few days) I use cetaphil ultra hydrating lotion (OK so it's a lotion!). I only use it for a few hours then wash it off but my skin comes back to life!

I know when my skin is getting dehydrated because it starts getting those dehydration cracks. Put some of this stuff on for a few hours and all is well.

Thanks for your reply, should of also menioned i have a nut allergy, and that cetaphil has macademia nut oil in it, so kind of a no no for me......well, unless for some reason i want my throat to close up on me wink.gif - plus it also has benzyl alcohol in it which is a skin irritiant even if it quite low of the ingredients list.

Yeh and cerave products are quite hard to get, and when you can find them, shipping is like in the £8-£10 range

I don't know if they have Clinique in England (I assume they do)
but I'd suggest trying the Dramatically Different Moisturizing GEL. Not the lotion, the lotion is terrible and breaks many people out.

I use it daily and it's moisturizing, but seems to mattify my face a bit when I apply it. I really like it smile.gif
