Currently using Olay Beauty Fluid which I'm not sure is oil free so I'm going to Boots to pick up a oil free non-comedogenic one. Anyone have any suggestions?

C'mon guys, any decent oil free moisturisers I can pick up from Boots/Superdrug? A few potentials from their website:

- Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free Moisturiser
- Boots Botanics Oil Free Sensitive Moisturiser
- Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser
- Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream with SPF 8

Must be under a fiver.

Or shall I just stick to the Olay sensitive beauty fluid?

Simple replenishing moisturiser is good. Available in Sainsbury's, Boots e.t.c. for about £3-4

I've used Boots Botanics Oil Free Sensitive Moisturiser and thought it was pretty good. Doesn't give shine at all and kept my face oil free for most of the day. Only thing is that it runs out very quickly. I used to use it day and night and it ran out in 2 weeks and considering it costs around £5, I stopped using it. Btw its more of a gel than a cream.

I've used Boots Mens Botanics moisturisers too but think they broke me out. The soothing moisturiser didn't moisturise enough and I was getting an oily nose within 1 hour of application! Plus I think its comedogenic. The dry skin moisturiser was too greasy it felt horrible on initial application although it seemed to get better throughout the day.

Currently using the same as you, Olay Beauty Fluid (non sensitive). Been using it around 2 weeks and its my favourite so far. The consistency is perfect for twice a day use and gives you that "fresh" feeling after you apply it, especially after a shave - well it does for me anyway biggrin.gif . I'm not too sure whether its oil free but it doesn't break me out. Saying that I apply BP once a day so can't give a fair analysis of Olay on it's own.

I'd suggest using Cetaphil.

Heya smile.gif

When looking for a face moisturiser, i look for one that doesnt leave a greasy residue. I have two suggestions for you:

Freederm Zone Balancing Moisturiser (which has 2 quid off atm, best moisturiser ever!)

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser

I was using Simple oil balancing moisturiser with zinc, loved it at first, did a nice job, my face didnt get greasy after a few hours and the zinc seemed to help with the marks from old spots but after a couple of weeks noticed it was blocking my pores and causing me to get lots of small red spots, so gave up on it. Disappointing as I thought all the Simple stuff was non-comedogenic.

I've yet to find a replacement so far, at the minute I'm using Diprobase because I had a bit of eczema randomly appear on my face so I'm being very cautious with everything at the minute..
