Im pretty sure i made the worse decision of my life by getting laser for my acne scars around my mouth and chin. I did the first treatment, healed, and it wasnt bad..just a little pink, scarring was improved a bit. 2 weeks later i had to go to vegas 4 a wedding and was out at the pool for 2 days, and i wore spf 70 (many layers throughout the day). i know it was a big mistake because the area lasered was just bright red. anyways, the dr. said I needed to get the next treatment done within a month or my contract was null an void because i waited so long to get the first treatment done. i guess wen u sign up they want you to have it done within 6 months, but i delayed for almost a year cuz i wasnt sure i wanted to go through with it (now i wish i never did). I also thought that doing the second treatment would make the area better with new skin. It is now day 3 after the second procedure and now my skin is bright red. Waaay more red than the first time. Is this normal? or do i have hyperpigmentation? I am very scared and dont know if i can go into work this week.

In my experience, you use ice packs every couple of hours (for around 10-20 min?) throughout the day, every day (maybe a week?). It brings the blood flow to the area in reaction to the cold, to heal that specific area. As well, moisturize constantly! Either with aloe vera gel or a lotion without perfumes, dyes, chemicals etc.
You should be ok. Go see a reliable dermatologist A.S.A.P.
