Here is my dilemma. I have severe seborrheic dermatitis, which consists of massive flaky dead skin. I also get pustular breakouts, and the dead skin is usually on top of these pimples.
I use benzoyl peroxide for the pimples (which decently keeps the acne away), but increases my dead skin like crazy.
My dilemma is, since nothing works to get rid of the dead skin... and since this dead skin if kept on the skin: A) looks like shit b) makes me more prone to acne (clogged pores)
The only way to get rid of the dead skin is to rub it off either with a washcloth or your fingers. Now, i have not rubbed in about 2 months, and my face looks like shit.
So basically, i feel like i am/have damaged my skin by rubbing dead skin off of my face over pustules, rice/grain like plugs, and whiteheads/blackheads. I have stopped rubbing.. but now i have no idea what to do. Here is a picture a month old which shows just how bad my dead skin gets (forehead). It also gets this bad on my cheeks.
