Today is my second day using BP twice/day this week and I'm really excited!!!!

I've noticed a HUGE difference between Dan's Regimen and and other products that I've used (and I've used A TON of them, like ProActiv, skinID, Clarins, Clinique, Max Clear or whatever it's called, and others that I can't remember. I've also been to countless dermatologists who have performed peels and injections and nitrogen and who knows what else). I mean I've had blackheads since I was in elementary school and I've been suffering from acne from fifth grade on. Others have helped tame my acne, but the regimen really is making it go away (knock on wood).

Basically, I'm excited because I haven't had a huge breakout in about two weeks and the pimples that I've had for what seems like years are diminishing (again, knock on wood!).

I've also been using the jojoba oil for other purposes - I had the keratin treatment twice and each time it caused some dandruff that seemed to never go away. But I used the jojoba oil in my shampoo and it is going away! Magical stuff.

So I know my skin will be dry tomorrow but I really like what the regimen is doing to my skin so I'm going to continue to work up to the BP twice/day every day.

My job asked me to get a facial from a potential employee to see how good of a job they perform (a practical) and at first I said yes but then I realized that I don't want to ruin a good thing. So I called a coworker and she agreed to get the facial instead. It was a HUGE sigh of relief. She understood and she said "I know, using a new skin care line is like being on a diet. You don't want to change anything because it might mess everything up." I'm glad she understood.

I used a sample of the La Roche-Posay sunscreen at CVS the other day because I'm looking for an spf that won't make me break out. I'm not sure if this pimple was coming on anyway, but I did get a pimple in the area that I put the sunscreen on. So I'm thinking about using a different kind. Does anyone have any good spfs?

Other than that pimple, I have two of those white pimples that form by my nose which doesn't really bother me because they go away so quickly. Yay!

Hey keep up the good work! I have had similar problems with acne, used a TON of products, and have just stated the regimen. I started up a bit too hard I think, with the full 2 pumps of BP 2x/day because I thought I could handle it... I'm on day 4 and my skin is definitely drying more than anticipated so I think I'm going to follow what you are doing with jojoba oil.

One question: how is your overall dryness? Personally, where I used to use other products my skin is now overly dry on the regimen, it's where I hadn't really used anything (my forehead and the ourside edge of my face/chin) where it feels/looks like I got sunburn redface.gif

That's what I did tongue.gif I started out with two pumps twice/day and then I couldn't control the dryness. The jojoba oil helped me a TON so hopefully it'll help you too!!! try the jojoba mask, I swear it saved my skin. Also switching to one pump of BP once/day and working my way up to BP twice/day also helped a lot.

Well at the moment my dryness isn't terrible at all, it's just mostly dry on my chin. The products I've used before I used all over my face. BUT I have noticed that when I put the BP on my neck, it dried out A LOT and I've never put any BP on my neck before. I haven't really thought about it though, so thanks for the info! I was mainly having the dryness problem on my chin/jawline/neck area. Also now I'm noticing that my forehead is peeling a little bit, but not so much that it bothers me.

I hope this helped!!!!! If you have any other questions, just let me know. I've been using the regimen a little bit more than a month now so I'm no expert, but I totally know how difficult the drying is.

Well I've been breaking out a little bit more these past few days, but it's not painful or anything so I'm dealing with it. They're more... puss-like or whatever. There have been three more since I've last posted, which really is small potatoes compared to what I used to get.

I've been exercising more often and I think that may be why???? I'm not exactly sure if it makes a difference or not. I've also been noticing a lot of acne on my back, which I haven't had since I was in fifth grade..... it sucks!!!!! I have no clue what it's from. It's a lot worse on one side than it is the other..... so weird. And SUCH BAD TIMING. Who needs this during the summer? I sure don't.

I'm going to start using the BP on my back now and wearing a white t-shirt so that it doesn't stain my clothes. I've been trying to use the AHA+ but it's not really working where the acne is bad....

This week has been pretty good. I've used the BP twice/day on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. This upcoming week I think I'll use twice/day it three times again on the same days, mostly because my face has been pretty dry and I've been drowning in moisturizer!

My coworker the other day walked in and said, "Wow your face is looking so clear!" That was a HUGE confidence boost!

I just received my new shipment of Acne.org products and this time I bought the jojoba oil instead of purchasing it at my local store. I received it just in time - I just ran out of the moisturizer the day it came!

I will post pictures tomorrow or the next day to see my progress.

As promised, here are my pictures. My pictures from 20 days ago are somewhere on this topic. I have yet to compare them, so I'm exited (:

Also, a lot of the marks on my chin isn't active acne, it's actually scarring. Just an fyi!

EDIT: I forgot to say that that red mark on my forehead is from a pimple I picked yesterday eusa_naughty.gif I just couldn't help it!! I'll be better next time. Also, I just took these pictures right after I applied the moisturizer in the regimen, so it may be a bit irritated from the BP. Also, I look sickly because... well, I am. On MDW. Awesome!

hi guys!!! I haven't updated in quite a while but I'd like you all to know that I've still been on the regimen and it's been going WONDERFULLY!!!

About two and a half months ago I had a terrible case of hives/an allergic reaction to something that lasted a month. I stopped using the regimen for about a week because it spread to my face. My acne came back and I got those terribly large and painful pimples on my chin. It took me a while to get my acne under control when I got back on the regimen, but now it's under control and better than ever!!! I've been getting plenty of compliments on how nice my skin looks and how smooth it looks.

Right now my regimen looks like:
morning: wash, wait 3 minutes. add as much lotion as needed (usually 2-3 pumps). wait to dry (~15 minutes), put on makeup.

night: wash, wait 3 minutes. put on one pump (of the new bottle) of BP. wait until it dries, usually 10-15 minutes. put on 3-4 pumps of lotion. wait to dry. put on some jojoba oil.

About 2-3 times/week (usually leaning more toward two) I use the BP in the morning and 1-2 times per week I use the AHA+ instead of moisturizer and on those nights I do not put on the jojoba oil. Also, some nights I forget to put on the jojoba oil.

Also, I've tried some new makeup that has been working really well!!! I'm using tarte recreate foundation, laura mercier mineral powder, laura geller baked blush, and mac fix + on top of everything. so far no breakouts and I've been using the combo for about three weeks smile.gif

So here are some new pics that were taken tonight with the camera on my new phone. The picture quality is a little different than my camera and the flash is a little brighter, so you can definitely see my acne more which is actually a good thing. My acne scars are annoying, but I'm sure you can differentiate between the acne scars and the active acne.

Also, on a more negative note..... I've been having some pretty bad bacne. I have no clue where this is coming from, I just started up a year ago. If anyone has any tips on how to get rid of it without using the regimen (I'm not too keen of putting BP on my back and the AHA didn't work), please let me know!!! Thank you smile.gif
