Sooo I have been much better lately at not picking at my acne and all of my red acne had subsided. I still had minor white and black heads. Until tonight where I picked nearly every single one. It is very late which is probably why I did it, but still it's no excuse. I am now more determined than ever to fight against it for now I know the beautiful consequence of no picking, clear skin. Just thought I would share. PS stoppickingonme.com really helped me

I try to always keep my hands busy doing something. That way I can't pick. I never pick my face anymore (haven't for like a year--WOOT!) but I pick my cuticles and skin near my finger nails. All but one of my fingers are healed up. Just keep working at it!

I like the mittens idea, and I know I have to keep working on the mirror thing. Its generally at night before I apply my skin treatment and all the stress rushes to me. or i can use a stress ball as well. ps i love the username you used, acneslayer, im digging it

I wish I had an hour to the end of my day. generally I dont get home until around 10 o'clock at which time I am exhausted so picking unfortunately is my hour break :/ so instead homework or a book would be a great alternative

Thanks. smile.gif

Grrrrrr... I keep picking my stupid thumb! It looks disgusting. I even start doing it sometimes without realizing. Then all of a sudden I'll notice I'm picking, and I don't have a clue how long I've been doing it.

I'm getting frustrated with myself. I've gotten so much better at not picking. I don't pick at any of my other fingers anymore, but since this one is already picked and scabbed and peely, I just can't seem to keep myself from picking at it! I just need this last finger to heal then I'll be fine.
