your pictures are funny, it's entertaining trying to figure out what you look like under all those white blotches... (didn't mean to make that sounds as creepy as it does... haha)

And you'll get an actual picture, don't you worry!

Moisturizer is meant to be put on right after a shower, thats how its always been. If you get dry skin you need the trap the moisture you get from your shower no more than 10 minutes after you pat your face dry. My face did not like waiting 10 minutes, then putting on BP, waiting another 15 minutes then putting on moisturizer. The moisturizer was making me yellow BECAUSE it wouldnt absorb properly.
Since Sunday I've been doing the regimen this way:
I take my shower
get out, dry off & get dressed.
(I dont open the door to let the steam out, the dry air will only take away the moisture faster)
After I'm dressed I combine 2-3 pumps moisturizer, 1-1 1/2 pumps BP and about 6 drops of jojoba oil all together in a little dish and mix it for about 45 seconds.
Then I apply it just as Dan says.
It's been about 5 days and my skin feels so much better. I'm not yellow, my skin isn't dry. And when I take my showers the dead skin just falls right off. I'm not saying everyone should do it this way, but for my skin this is a lot better. Plus it's a lot less time consuming.
I still think dans moisturizer makes me look too greasy though. So I'm taking a cab or the bus to some stores later so I can find somthing else

and that's not okay lol.
not much change except a couple very small spots and this one PIH spot by the end of my eyebrow (closest to my ear) that turned into a pimple and came to a head.. which was kind of odd. I still haven't found a new moisturizer yet. Ill probably go shopping tomorrow so I'll try to find one then.
I haven't really thought or even cared about my skin too much these past few days..
It's kind of nice.

Not much to say. My camera does make the red marks stand out a little bit more but they're still really noticeable. I think I'm going to order AHA next week and start using it right after I finish my fourth week. I am getting some whiteheads in the lower middle of my forehead so if those don't go away after a month or two I'm just going to have a derm extract them. But since I can barely see them I'll just try adding a little more BP to that area and leave it alone for now.

I noticed a hard spot on my cheek close to my mouth the other day so I left it alone and it ended up coming to a head a couple days later so I popped it. It just popped though, no broken skin or anything like that.
Only real thing that might be active is this spot right between my eyebrows. and this really small spot on the side of my nose.
That's pretty much it, I don't really care too much though. I've just kind of stopped giving a shit what my skin looks like. Kind of pointless to care about something that isn't really that big of a deal. Am I still self-conscious about it? Of course, and I'm going to stay on the regimen. But as far as worrying about what other people think? Not really my concern.

So I've been on the regimen for three weeks. You can see in my pictures that I got two new pimples (one on each cheek). It doesn't bother me too much, I've been getting less and less spots since I started the regimen and only a couple pimples is a huge improvement. There is a little bit of redness between my eyebrows. That's because I poked and squeezed out some bulging whiteheads. I did this yesterday though so the little bit of redness should go away soon. It feels pretty good to have those out though even if they left a little redness and there was no bleeding or broken skin so it's not like it will leave a mark.
Other than that the PIH that I have has been getting better and better. I think it's because my skin is shedding a lot more when it's on BP.
I saw a post about the iPhone camera making people look like shit. I guess the camera can pick up things that the human eye can't see. Which makes me feel better because I thought that the camera is what my skin actually looked like.. which would be bad..
Anyway that pretty much sums up my week, here are some pictures. The bathroom lighting and the different angles for each section of my face makes my chin look more tan and my forehead more pale. My skin is not actually three different shades.

As far as my skin goes, couple spots and bunch of PIH as always. I've gone out with people a lot this week though and didn't even think about my skin once. Life is actually quite good for a change. And I'm writing a lot too.. so good for me.

It will be a full month this Wednesday that I've been on the regimen. Not much to update, some small spots here and there. My skin has been getting really dry so I think I'm going to go one more week with a full pump of BP and then bring it down to a half pump. I started taking more vitamins a couple weeks ago, D-3, A, Zinc, and calcium. I plan on getting some B-5 too since I hear it's good for acne and healing wounds.

I was getting sick of putting stuff on my face anyway.
I got an accutane script from my derm and started it a couple weeks ago. I talked her into 40mg twice a day to make sure it works the first time around. I think the IB has started to kick in and its been a pain in the ass the last few days, but my skin texture/tone looks like it has increased 100% since I started.
really looking forward to clear skin in a few months

If it doesn't work I will probably just keep washing my face with water, the regimen could have worked for me but to be honest I was getting so sick of doing it. I'm pretty confident that I'll be 100% clear for 2012 thanks to accutane.

still on accutane, skin is looking better but i still get a few spots here and there. 95% of the deep blackheads that were deep under my skin surfaced and are gone. my dose is getting upped one more time in a few weeks and then i'm sticking with that dose until i'm done. (november)
i get a feeling not every single tiny blackhead will surface by the time i finish, but there arent many they don't even bother me anymore so it's no big deal.
im expecting another breakout when i up my dose again, they seem to start a few days after the dosage increase and take a few weeks to fully go away. but after that it should be smooth sailing.
