Hi.
I had fraxel laser treatment for my acne scars 2 years ago. Due to the high strength of the laser, my whole face was burned (a dermatologist said that the first layer of my skin was basically burned off and didn't grow back) and now my entire face is bright red except for my eyes (like I'm wearing white goggles). It has been nearly 2 years and my face is still just as red as before...I look so silly with just the whites around my eyes.

I was wondering if there was any product, treatment, anything out there that could repair my conditon. Is there anything at all I can do to get the top layer of my skin back and get back my white face? I'm getting pretty desperate...

Find a reputable dermatologist in your area. Do your research first. My derm prescribed a topical gel that I use twice a day, during the day. As well, she prescribed a mixture of oils that I use at night. It helps, but is not a cure. I have ended up going for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments recently to try to heal my skin, but I've only done a week out of 6 wks, so I don't know what the outcome will be yet. Very expensive though. Good luck!

Thanks for the post. Do you have the same condition as me (was your face burned by a laser)?
Please update once you finish the treatment for all the weeks and/or if you find something that works! Thanks.

Try topicals then, look into a good lawyer, and sue for a new face. Seriously, that isn't cool to charge you so much money, then hurt you, and you pay double. Then again, look at acne, acne scars, and the price for medication. Not cool.

Took the words right out of my mouth. A good lawyer comes to mind. You may have signed a consent form but I am pretty sure it didn't say anything about getting the top layer of your face burned off or gross negligence by the doctor. She or he should have in red print "I may be incable of doing my job". Really, I would get a lawyer. May get the money for a new layer of skin! That's horrible!

Donna

Best of luck to you.

You can try the omnilux red light therapy. Doctors use it for burn victims and pre cancerous cells and i have used it. it works amazing and has realllllllly good and fast healing properties
