I quickly browsed through the b5 thread months ago, and it seemed hardly anyone cured themselves of acne with b5. Not only that but the one study that it was based on seemed not very controlled.

And the people who did benefit from it could easily have been placebo/growing up/not looking in the mirror close enough.

Just wondering if there is anymore info on it since the one and only seemingly fraudulent study.

Try it and see. It worked for me. You will know in about 7 days if its working or not (assuming taking 10g or more). Its not a cure, and its not imo a long term solution. However, it is effective short term.

Not sure why the comment on the fraudulent study. None of it has been disproved either, which would be simple to do. There's just no money in studies on vitamins.

The link to that study (article from The Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine): A Stone that Kills two Birds: How Pantothenic Acid Unveils the Mysteries of Acne Vulgaris and Obesity. As far as I know this is the only study ever done.

Oh, again? I don't know what's up with the board software lately. The link worked fine when I posted it... It's fixed now.
