I am a 21 yr old female with moderate face, back, and chest acne. I have been suffering with acne for years now and nothing has completely cleared my skin nor stopped it. I can say I have tried a lot treatments, including acne.org's regimen, which seemed to help, but I disliked that half my clothes was bleached due to the BP. I have tried antibiotics, creams, etc. So I read a lot on apple cider vinegar and have started drinking it as well as applying it topically full strength because my skin is not sensitive. I am also skinny and changing my diet or exercising would make me lose weight, which I do not want! Any advice, tips, stories? I really hate that I have this acne preventing me from doing so many things...

ACV sadly broke me out when i drank it.
But I hope you have lots of luck with it.

Perhaps I overdid it. I had what drinkers might consider to be a generous 'shot' of neat cider vinegar (I don't even know if that's the same as apple cider vinegar). Phew, that was quite an experience.
Also, how long have you been trying the ACV treatment and what have the effects been?

I'm the same age as you, and I loveee apple cider vinegar. I tried the Heinz version, the Braggs, and the Trader Joes. The Heinz version did nothing, and left a terrible lingering smell. The Braggs and Trader Joes both worked good in my opinion. Make sure you get one that is organic with "the mother". It really truely helps. I personally have grown to love the taste of this vinegar

Honestly, I'm not sure what effect drinking ACV has had on my Acne. It's said to have numerous health benefits to drink a shot a day, so I figure it can't hurt to drink anyways. I use Bragg's ACV, I believe it's the best.
As for applying it topically, I think it's very useful, but don't use it every night. Some people use it every day, but I notice it loses it's effectiveness after too much use. Maybe the skin get's used to it? I use it topically 2 nights a week before bed, and it dries up any pimples, evens out skin tone, and makes my skin look healthier. Sometimes it can bring pimples to a whitehead, so be prepared for that.
