I updated yesterday to IE 9 and now the forums aren't working properly for me. When I click "View new posts" it says there is none and I know that's not true. Also, when I click the little orange button next to posts, it takes me back to the last one I read before I updated, not the actual new one.

Not sure if there's something your tech. guy can do about this, but just thought I'd let you know.

Can you try deleting all of your cookies set by acne.org?

You can use the link on the message board index: "Delete cookies set by this board"

Just tried it and it's still not working correctly.

Compatibility view does nothing to help either.

That's weird... I updated to IE9 to check this out, for me everything works perfectly fine. Do you maybe have any add-ons that could cause this problem? Can you try clearing your cache (not just the cookies, but everything)?

Ok, it's working for me. Not sure what changed...I cleared the entire cache last night. Maybe the turning it off last night and back on today reset something.

Anyway, thanks for looking into this guys!

ETA: Spoke to soon. The little orange button is working now, but it still doesn't show anything in new posts.

Close out the acne.org website and THEN clear cookies; that way a new cookie isn't immediately generated with the same problem. Then clear cache again. Then log into acne.org.

Yeah, I've tried all that in many different combinations. I'll just resign myself to the fact that it's some funky issue my computer is having. No worries.

This may sound weird, but try this: check your harddisk for errors (select all repair options), and then defragment it. This may take a while.

[Edit] Forgot to mention: clean up your computer first, with ccleaner, for example.

Sorry for resurrecting this.

I don't know if anything on the site's end has been changed recently (like today), but the View new posts is finally working for me. I've checked it every day since the problem started so I highly doubt it was anything on my end.
