I've changed everything.
My diet.. im on lite n easy which means i get regular healthy meals sent to me.. ive been on it for 3 weeks ( i know diet takes much longer for it to have any effect) im a skinny person so i dont really need to diet ( that heavily).
I eat a large bowl of salad with carrots/ cucumber for dinner etc ( its not bad actually)
I change my pillow cases every 2 days
My bed sheets every week
I drink 3-4 litres of water a day
My point is i pop my pimples at least once a week or at best once every 2 weeks at best and when i pop my pimples i pop a lot of them if not all.
I spoke to numerous skin specialsts and they told me in great detail exactly what happens when you pop your pimples..
Have you guys noticed say u have 1 pimple only on your forehead.. you pop the shit out of it and pick at it.. have u noticed most of the time another 1 or 2 pimples sprout out next to it? Imagine popping 7-10 pimples in my case and what happens then again and again?
What im saying is i can get the best creams in the world.. the best facials and have the best diet but at the end of the day if im picking my skin and it gets deeper and gets infected then im screwed at the end of the day and i will never ever be clear.
This is day 2 and i havent picked.... so good luck for me and im learning my lesson - thanks to my free consultation at the skin clinic
thanks for reading
and to the skin pickers out there ... dont do it! there is never a safe way to pick your skin EVER.. live with it!

I agree that it is extremely hard to go out in public when you know people will be staring at something on your face that looks like it's gonna explode! I used to pop my pimples alot and I'm going to be dealing with scarring because of it. Mate, I wouldn't be popping with a needle yourself, that is dangerous and can quite easily spread the infected area not to mention the cleanliness of the needle.

My dermatologist gave me a long talk about the effect of popping a zit. She said " didnt u notice how when u pop a few zit on your cheek a few more comes out a week later?"
And also she mentioned when you pop a zit most of the puss / bacteria does come out but enough goes deeper in the pore and Taa daa next week it comes out again..
SO WHATS THE POINT?
Oh and popping a white zit just turns it into a yucky open wound or a scab

Now what about the other one? im not sure about you guys but once i scratch one i just cant help my self and go on a scratching spree.
At best i'd wash my hands for 20 seconds with detol soap.. but what about under my nails? did i use brush to clean under my nails? no i dont think so.
What im saying i personally rather not pop / scratch anything just to form that habit.. its not worth it

I have seborrheic dermatitis on top of pustules, so i rub it off (the dead skin)
I havent done it for awhile, but my face is a mess with massive dead skin.
I wonder if rubbing with fingers (kind of like when you are massaging your face, not too hard but not too soft), can cause pimples to spread or even scars?
I think the best way to stop doing these things is just ignore the mirror

I also noticed that I was never quite clear when I picked my skin. I'd squeeze all the zits on my face as soon as I could. Eventually I hit rock bottom and stopped touching my face completely. I was a red scabby mess and felt too depressed to even fuss with my face anymore. You know what? In a few weeks of not touching my face, my lesions healed and my skin looked great!
One important thing to do is watch a pimple go through the ENTIRE healing phase untouched. Whiteheads do go away by themselves. If I leave a whitehead alone for long enough, they almost vanish completely by themselves, either by draining or they dry up and flake off like dead skin. If you get into the mindset that your skin can heal itself over time (with the assistance of an effective skincare regimen), then the rest comes easy.

i'm a picker too, mainly because my face gets oily in the day due to working in a humid office and also because my foundation whatever i use always gets shiny and slides off :[ then i go to the gym and sweat lots so it's just a massive vicious cycle!
by the time i remove my make up at night, my skin is so horrendous - little whiteheads, spots, everything :[ i am so conscious about it too, i've tried so many things - face washes, toners, salicylic acid peels, nothing works :[
it's so frustrating as a few months back my skin was almost 100% clear and now i have like 14 spots!!! :[
