I was thinking long and hard this moring about some sort of device that would stop people from picking, but a better idea popped into my had, and I don't think anyone here has thought of it yet.

Putting oil on all your fingertips, and wiping off the excess.

You won't touch your face because you know it will clog your pores, and you can't gt the oil off your fingers without soap, so it's almost perfect.

Your just gonna have to use your arm to itch your face, but at-least you won't be feeling your pimples or picking, because now you have more of a reason not to.

It's a very light coat of oil that kinda sticks to your fingers once you wipe it off a bit, it comes off over time, but seems to last for a good 5 hours, and won't really get on anything because it's so thin. My keyboard might be the slightest bit oily, but I'm not touch my face, and it's nothing noticeable really.

Also it's very had to get off your finger nails, so you won't even be scratching your face, damaging the skin and or causing acne.

I use peanut oil btw(:

duuud ;/ its messy to do, greassy as fuk, n when u gonna touch stuff u gonna be leaving that oil there n everywhere n that will be promoting bacteria n dirt n yuckz in all places l:P aand anywayz if ur a like hardcore picker (like i was fe *gulpz* .___.) then u will pick anywayz and anywayz even if it would prevent someone from picking while having that oil on finger i cant imagine most of ppl who r pickers to just go n do all that stuff whenever theres an urge bcz when your brain gets that urge to pick at something, its mostly subcosciously & before u even know it n think about that oil thing ur already picking, but well if it helps someone idk be it so, just rly weird idea imo :T y not just wear gloves?

Because I can still pick with gloves,unless ther boxing gloves or oven mits ;P. I dunno I had some urge to pick today, I felt like i was falling off my regimen, and as soon as I put that oil on my finger tips, wiped it off to make it a thin layer, I completely stopped running my fingers down my face, and have lost the urge all the way until now, and still feeling very strong (: .

lool it would look so funny to walk around with mits xD but boxing gloves r great, bcz whenever u wanna pick u can just poonchh yourself instead n then u dont wanna pick noo more l: P

I dab on my facial mask on the zits that I need to keep my hands off of. It dries lumpy and bumpy, so if my hands go wandering and encounter the blob they are reminded to go away. And it protects the zit from oils from my hands. Obviously this only works at home
