Hey all, I just have a couple quick questions about oily skin, I'm extremely confused.
Anyways, some background.. Back in early December I started DKR and was on it for about 3 months, and around march 3rd or so i finally quit because my skin became dry and irritated from the BP. Around January I started to notice that my face began to get shiny.. I thought at first it was the cetaphil moisturizer i was using ( i wasn't using Dan's moisturizer), and for all I know it could have been. However, I have reduced my moisturizer use to once at night in the past week, and my face is still becoming shiny during the day, making me realize that i may have developed oily skin.. If so, how did this happen? I am really confused and also really agitated if i have to deal with oily skin on top of all the acne on my face from stopping BP use.. And if i do now have oily skin, will it ever go back to normal on its own? or do i now have to treat oily skin for the rest of my life? Any suggestions on which cleansers and moisturizers to use? thanks

This is exactly what happened to me. I am 26 and I never had oily skin before. Not even during my teen years. I started DKR early 2008 and stopped about 3 months later due to irritation. Since then, my skin became extremely oily. It has been almost 3 years now since I stopped DKR but my skin never go back to its normal state.

oh great... well, any tips on how to control shine? I'm still new to this if I really do have oily skin now, although someone mentioned that it might be that my skin is excessively dry, causing an overproduction of sebum. not sure what the cause is though, any other thoughts?
