Go to the scar subsection of the forums and look at pictures of people with pitted scars. Even though I don't scar from picking, seeing all those awful boxcar, rolling, and icepick scars made me stop completely.
If you're serious about stopping the habit, I suggest printing out a picture of someone with pitted scarring and taping it to your computer monitor or something.

Good idea. I find there's nothing that works better to stop picking than getting very scared!
