Hey,

currently I got to decide whether I want to use vitamines or isotretinoin.

My parents ordered me highly doses vitamines:

Vitamin b5
Zinc
Probiotic Bacteria

Of course I'd rather would like to take Isotretinoin, but my parents meant, if the vitamines wont work than they will think of the idea to take Isotretinoin.

My doctor said I got to talk it with my parents because they also need to set their signature to allow Isotretinoin.

What shall I do? What would you prefer?

I've got Acne Conglobata

Together with those vitamins, why not also cut out all sugars, dairy, wheat and processed food and give it a go? At least 2 to 3 weeks...

AC is very severe, so I would go straight to accutane. That's just my personal opinion. Doing high doses of vitamins may be unsafe since your doctor wouldn't be monitoring you like he/she would be on accutane.

Good luck!

Zinc and B5 are not recognized as treatments for any form of acne, nevermind AC.
*Your* parents need counselling, as in information. I can understand they feel the need to protect you from harm, but right now they are not helping. You already are in harm's way.

I am a former user and abuser of isotretinoin, and if you look up most of my posts you will see how anti-isotretinoin my stance is. For AC, I have only two words: "isotretinoin now!". Get your parents to read this post and also my backlog.

First of all thanks for you fast reply.

Acne isn't caused because of food.

I'll show them your posts, thanks.

Don't underestimate the impact of food on acne, it has a huge affect over time especially. As mentioned, to help get clear, cut out sugars/dairy/wheat/processed food. It won't clear overnight, but its the only way imo of keeping acne at bay. You can do this whilst trying short term measures like megadosing, accutane etc, then you can slowly come off them once there is a good acne opposing diet.

You are posting in the wrong folder. Read the archives and other posts here. Google. etc

But I think you might already have your mind set on what you believe and what you want and think will fix your acne problem.

I have found what helps my acne to stay away. Good luck in finding yours smile.gif

I don't think that a Acne diet would help me. Also I couldn't have that patient do to that.

I'm eating much meat and not much vegetables and no fruits.

I hope so my parents will allow me to take Accutane
