I pick my face too much and lately it has gotten awful. I know I need to stop, but I just dont know how to go about stopping. My mom yells at me constantly to stop picking, but she was the one that got me started picking. When she yells I pick even more... Do you have any suggestions of ways I can stop myself from picking my face?

1- dont listen to mom (no rly, if she starts to yell around or something, put on headphones n turn them loud to not hear what she says n just bow head to whatever she babbles as if u agree lol, trust me thats easier n saves alot of energy u couldve spent on arguing back) bcz stress deff is not good thing for acne n picking habbits..
2- wear da GLOVES! (whenever u feel your hands r without action that they might start to pick at skin uncosciously, start wearing gloves so that u cant pick uncosciously n that whenever u touch face with gloves it would be reminder to stop yourself)
3- make yourself a calender and every day that u didnt pick mark as completed and make a goal for yourself, like no picking for 10 days fe (start with less days at first, like 5 days maybe, and then increase them each time, as u go. like if u made 5 days then increase it to 10 days, then 15 etc)
4- read that stoppickingatme (or stoppickingonme, google it, idk) site, its like ultimate site for not picking or something, everyone says it.
5- try to avoid mirrors as much, limit your time at mirror to 1 or 2 times a day, only to do your regimen n maybe check out yourself few times but keep it as short glimpse n thats all. DONT examine your skin! and nowayz, dont use magnifying mirror!
6- start today or tomorrow, but just STOP picking, do whatever u can to stop it bcz nothing damages skin as much as picking n u dont wanna end up with scars or discolored face, so remember that n just stop this!
good luck!

Keep your hands busy with something else. It might sound ridiculous, but carry a mini can of Play-Dough with you, or maybe just a stress relief ball or something. When your hands are constantly occupied, then you can't pick. That's how I got myself to stop picking. Oh and thinking of how nasty you'll look if you pick but how great you'll look if you don't pick.

take a photograph of your skin as it is currently. look at it. look at it A LOT. then tell yourself NO MORE and try to go one whole day without picking.
repeat til you get to day 7. take another photo and compare. you will notice the progress you are making.
then just KEEP GOING. setbacks are normal, but you have to try to keep going.
read some of the other posts here-- they helped me.
