This is in reference to the sticky. I know delete request are no longer taken but why not provide this feature/option so we can do it ourselves?

I actually think that's a good idea. I don't think it will be considered by the "org admin team" though.

@ bambeano: I don't know why you can't delete your account. But you can just stop posting or have your account suspended (I'm sure if you ask one of the moderators nicely, they'll do it for you). However, if your intention is to create a new account: that's not allowed. You can change your username though.

lol... Yeah, I'm aware of that book. I haven't read it though...as I'm more of a movie person than a book person. So what exactly was the joke here then? I know jokes are less funny when you have to explain them but...I don't want to miss out on the fun.

I just found the comparison kind of hilarious: not being able to delete an account versus an invasive government using torture, mind control, and watching everything you do. So you didn't really miss out on any fun but my own

i just got a pm from a mod accusing me of being some other member which is ludicrous. if one was to use an isp from a cell phone carrier it's bound to have the same ip address....many users accessing the same port. so fail

i won't name names but its a mod here in this thread. lol

i'm getting unnecessary pm(s) from this mod. i can't block because the system won't allow me. see why i want a new account?? so i can avoid the power trips.
