Day 39

Well, Happy PI day everyone!

updates on skin. I'm currently in my boyfriends house for spring break. The lights are dim, so its pretty hard to see my skin clearly. But I am experiencing great redness right now, its kind of annoying. I look like I have a moustache looking from far away. Ahh!!!!!!!! I don't know if that'll be over but sad.gifI don'tknow if the cleanser I'm using is right since its got sulfates in it. I haven't experienced severe difficulties with the cleanser, I guess i'LL GET SOME NEW ONES SOON. AHHH NOT HAPPY WITH MY FACE... sad.gif eusa_snooty.gif

Day 42

Didn't sleep well last night, I think it takes time for me to adjust to my own bed after 5 nights staying at my boyfriends'.

updates:

still getting breakouts, face is less red, but zits usually heal the next day. right now my cleansing routine is

water->cleanswer--> (i usually do it more than 10 seconds because im afraid it won't clean!!!)-->then apply jojoba oil in the shower-->put it on face until ready to go out of shower, give it a final rinse-->bp-->moisterizer (with gaps in between).

Is there any problem with this routine?

Ahh, also, I skipped my vitamins for three nights, I'll get back on it tonight!!!!!!

Today im going to make some green/red bean porridge.

Day 44
I think over the past two days, great improvements have shown on my face. Right now I don't have active whiteheads, i do still have one or two active pimples. The big one on the right side of my cheek is getting smaller day by day. I still remember the first day when it was all hard and big, and now, its small and soft (smaller than before!!). For the past two nights, i used AHA+ to moisterize my skin, and right before I go to sleep I slab on a layer more bp ONLY ON my ACTIVE acnes. And it's helped dry them out the next day.

Reflections on what I could do more to improve:

-Lots of water
-Take vitamins daily
-Stick with Regimen
-Moisterize well (alternate between AHA and moisterizer)
-Eat green bean red bean 还有薏仁。
-sunscreen

SMILES.

thats about it.

now back to my paper.

Day 55

I'm kind of scared of the fact that I'm soon reaching my two months mark, and I suddenly started experiencing another round of break out. Maybe its due to hormones because I'm about to have my period in one week. Being a women sucks....but what can you do..?

I had been clear for a few weeks before I had this sudden break out. My left cheek seems to be healing very well, whereas my right cheek looks like a disaster, really. its so scary...

My forehead and temples are healing great!! my chin and my right cheek are the places where I need most attention now. This lump on the right side of my cheek doesn't seem to want to go away. I gets softer every day,...so i guess thats a sign of getting better?

I had been stressed out over the weekend, i guess thats why my acne got worse for a few days. My neck has been itchy...

And i need to clean my room. Maybe that helps my acne. I should get back on doing my foot spa.

Day 58

My face is healing slowly, and I can see some differences everyday. however as some of them go away, new ones form. But I believe that its the bp thats keep digging out dirt from underneath the surface of my skin. Yesterday I had a full on make up because I had to be present for a 4 hour long interview for the scholarship I was applying for. i had all my hair up and strangely my face was not irritated at all! And later that night I went out with my friends to go shopping, didn't get anything, but got wow bao on our way back. Since i didn't eat any dinner, I didn't feel guilty about eating two Bao zi

Anyways, this morning when i woke up, the under the surface comedones came up to surface this morning, although sore and swollen, I feel good about it because It's trying to get rid of the toxins.

A summary of what more i SHOULD do which i hadn't done for the past week

1)Drink moremoremoremormore water.
2)Eat wheat
3)No mayo or butter
4)Soymilk
5)lots of fruits and veges (I should really pick up on those)

i don't know when i started to not like fruits and veges , maybe they arn't cooked the way i like.

I miss my mama's veges.

take vitamins daily!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 61

I'm going to quickly update my reflections on adjusting lifestyle and the results I got from it.

So for the past few days the area underneath my nose has been so inflamed and it has been a pain, but it's gradually going away. I had been breaking out a lot over the past weekend and the previous two days. My face is itchy when i apply jojoba oil for some reason.

Some of the things I did that I think helped with my skin
-Drink TONS of water and at least one cup of tea perday. the more the better
-actually ATE fruits although the fruits from the school cafe is absolutely gross
-I havent really noticed a difference in my vitamin intake and acne. but it doesn't hurt to take some
-be EXTRA gentle to my face, and really avoid touching it during the day! I'm going to keep a log on my face touching frequency. Avoid touching fACE!!!! its so important

Maybe I should get back on apples again. Just to give it a try. because i remember when i was in highschool, if i missed an intake of an apple, i'd break out.

Have faith.

same day.

I just invested on a blender, and hopefully it gets here this Friday so I can start mixing veges.

I am so discouraged right now. Sights. I think its because of the stress college students face. I'm expecting my period on the 8th, which is friday and I have an audition for an intern in the museum this Saturday. It's gonna be another full on make up. Well, I'd better get that job.

Iv been breaking out around my mouth area. I think its my junk food intake and hormone inbalance. Can't wait can't wait.

I worked out today, so it's a progress. I should put on make up less, no make up tomorrow. I guess..

2.5 months!day 67

Things are starting to look up. I had been having green and fruit smoothies for the past 4 days and it has been a great help for my skin.

Right now my main goal is to start fighting red marks. I hope green smoothies help. They don't really taste all that nice, but for my skin, I'm willing to eat anything.

I just browsed some of photoes from the gallery and they are true inspirational pictures. Some took 6 months to clear up. I feel 2.5 months are still quite early on the regimen, given my skin condition.

I'm gonna give it more months! I have faith in it! Hopefully I clear up before i turn 21!!

day 72

over the past 5 days, my skin has experienced a tremendous improvement. Red spots are fading, and everything is less inflamed, and I am soooooo happy for the results. Also I had been having greensmoothies, I'm not sure if its those that helped with the improvement, but overall i'm happy. Theres just one thing that's been bothering me for the past few days, is the dry itchy patches that's along my hairline (on the sides) I looked up, it was because I had used 3 pumps out of the blue, and it was irratating my skin, but it will go away.
Right now I'm just using 1-1.5 pumps of BP twice a day, everyday. I do jojoba oil exfoliation when times i don't wear my make up, and it seems to help with the dryness and flakiness.

Looks like I'm closer to my goal everyday! Keep it coming Improvement!!!!

day 74

woot!!!! no new break outs!!!! I have been clear for 4 days. the only ones i have right now are the tiniest whiteheads that have been dried up, and im still waiting for them to fall off themselves.

I think it is safe to conclude the ultimate method of getting rid of acne

1. a gentle cleanser
2. 2.5% bp gel
3. a moisterizer with a ton of jojoba oil
4. green tea
5. fruit/green smoothies

That's what helped me have the skin i have TODAY. Hopefully, my skin improves more with time.
The dry skins around my mouth are starting to heal and soon they will be as pretty as the rest of my skin is.!!!

YAYYYYY. Dan Rocks.
