This research was part of a much bigger end goal. Since I've reached that goal; I felt I should take it down. Please DELETE this thread.

I agree with the premise that if anything acne should be treated with probiotics rather than antibiotics. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced on the whole P. acnes/acne link. I believe the bacteria only play a later role in the pathogenesis of acne.

wokaay will try do so. but when my acne is away ill try mixing chocloate cream with candy aand ice cream rather ofc 1eye.gif

well this is rather interesting eusa_think.gif u mean dont wash aat aal for those 40 days? but wouldnt this make skin dry (without applying anything) and/or too oily/dirty (if not cleansed n washed)? :/
aand would this help old scars as well not just recent ones iyo?
and and how many approx % of imporovment on scar would there be with diet and without diet after doing this?
bcz well u dont want to say it would be gone completely, just from that, do u? huh.gif

So even for people who have hormonal acne, could changing their diet actually help? Or am I looking at this the wrong way? I have mild/moderate acne.

Of course. Hormones don't cause Acne because Sebaceous Glands release sebum(fatty acids); not hormones. Its poisonous sebum(fatty acids) that poisons Bacteria.

Even though hormones increase sebum production; the increase of healthy sebum(fatty acids) will not harm Bacteria and of course the increase of poisonous fatty acids will poison Bacteria.

Acne is a man-made disease like Cancer, Heart-Disease, Diabetes and many others.

Does this clarify it for you?

Oh ok, that makes sense then.

When you eat something that will cause you to get some acne, how long does it take to see it? Like is it overnight? Or does it take a few days?

Everyone is different; I can say within 24 hours. There must be a reason why you asked; are you trying to pin-point foods that contain those poisonous fatty acids?

I recommend 80/10/10 diet book as an great read based on the human diet. Wonderful book that states what I state minus the scientific info.

If you're into hearing the truth instead of a sincere lie; I recommend the articles below.

Oh ok, thanks for the links.

My diet isn't all that healthy, but then again, I only weigh 130lbs, so it wouldn't really be expected for me to be all healthy and such. I drink quite an amount of soda and eat chocolate, but I've been cutting back on both a lot lately. Bad part is, I haven't really noticed much of a difference in my acne while cutting back on those. Some days I'll get a couple of zits, some days I won't get any at all. There's really no pattern in it, which is why I'm not sure if my diet has anything to do with my acne. I'll go a week without consuming any caffeine, but still get acne! So uh...fucking lame.

can u tell y liver releases those poisonous fatty acids in a way they end up on skin & not in any other way? huh.gif & y is there no emergency system in us that bothers about aesthetics? dry.gif ok ikno body is working in a way to survive but how does giving priority to some lagging organ or whatever problem over rly shitty skin help? u can totally die from bad skin sooner than fe some organ problem, bcz u can do suicide from mind mess that u experience during shit skin ykno confused.gif

and does liver release those acids all at once or a bit at a time? if so then..if ur like keep eating bad, they constantly sum up there in liver (while previous shit havent been released completely) therfor even when ur finally on good diet u still break out bcz liver havent finished to release that bad stuff from previous times, means gotta give longer time for diet to see results from it, amirite? confused.gif

If we eat too much fat, even if it's not saturated fat, is that also bad? I've been eating a lot of almonds and I've been noticing breakouts. I've probably been eating 200% of the fat RDA

Okay I am not a science graduate and struggled to understand some of what you are saying, but basicly what I can take from this post is, minimise my intake of Lauric Acid and Myristic Acid ?

I call BS. This sounds like the quintessential, run-of-the-mill internet "alternative medicinez" stuff.

No offense, but it's just bunk.
