hey guys,
so i'm using accutane for abt 4 months now and its workin really well! but im concerned about later side effects that i've heard abt. (like years later)...not sure if they true but just want to make sure.

also, im not sure why but i have really bad stretch marks and my derm told me that the only thing that helps is laser....that the stretch mark/scar cremes dont work worth shit. so is this true??? and if so how much does laser cost??? i think its really expensive:( but i want to know how much

i was on accutane till about a month a ago i finished it and i have red marks too , but my derm didn`t say anything about laser and told me your red marks will go away but u gotta but be patient for a few months ... Anyway i have heard that laser isn`t a brilliant choice when u were on accutane and u have to wait about 6 months ... and about the side effects ... come on !! you have been on accutane , u can`t go back , being scared of the future side effects just make u unhappy ... and because i don`t want u to be unhappy i would say there is no side effects in future !! think so and there won`t be , believe me !!!

Laser treatments can run from $150, $350 and up depending on how much you need to get done. With that said, lasers cause premature aging because they "heat-up" the skin 10x as much as laying in the sun.
If you have that much money, look for a place near you that does stem cell treatments for skin or oxygen infusion. Google it to get a better understanding.

lasers may give you faster results, but I had stretch marks ever since I got boobs when I was like 15 haha. I never really did much for them, but this year I started rubbing coco butter on them after every shower & I'd say in about three months they were MUCH better. I mean they're still there, but I don't think someone who isn't me wouldn't even really notice them. I hope things work out for you
