Hi
Accutane is form of high quotients of vitamin a!
So have anyone ever successfully used let say 100000iu-200000iu of vitamin a as successful
alternative to accutane?

and have problems with acne since early teens
Never have cured them!

you might want to research VitA toxicity. if you're thinking of 100,000iui, which is like 10x the recommended MAX, it could cause you harm.

I wonder exactly how much Vitamin A (in IU's) is in a dose of Accutane. I myself have been on Accutane on 3 different occasions in my life, and it only helped marginally. However, I have modified my diet big time in the last year, and wonder if Accutane would work better now. I'm not about to experiment on myself at this point. I've been to a Naturopath who recommended taking Diamond Herpanacine, I'm a little iffy about taking it, but it does contain 12,500 IU's of Vitamin A. I may give it a go, anyone else heard of it or taken it? Please chime in...

Do a board search on vitamin A - others have tried this in the past and have posted about it.

I will also add that it is not medically recommended to take megadoses of vitamin A - this can be very risky and can have serious side effects.
