Day 83
@Ashley: You mean happy doing the whole regimen or just exfoliating? I'm happy with both. It felt really good to exfoliate. I have thought about using products again but I'm going to wait awhile still. Yeah, I've decided to do a full face exfoliation about a once a month. Hopefully I start shedding properly because right now, I know my face definitely isn't.
I've broken out after exfoliating but I kind of expected that. I've got 2 large whiteheads on my face and 2 on my left cheek. They look normal though, not those weird skin colored ones.
You've already caved? That sucks! Although I suppose a few splashes isn't that bad. XD

Well guys, I'm done.
I lasted 89 long days on the water-only regimen. I've been thinking about stopping for awhile now but finally decided to do it last night. Before the water regimen, my skin was terrible. I was using a thousand harsh products a day and my skin looked soo bad. It had PIH everywhere (still does), it was extremely red and my pores were so big and noticable. So in doing this regimen, I think I really just got to a point where my skin was almost 'normal'.
My new regimen is going to be wash with Clean & Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Foaming Acne Wash. I had bought it awhile ago and never used to so I thought, what the heck. It lathers nicely and smells good, so that's a plus. It has 2% SA in it. Then I moisurize with Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. I wash my face only at night. I always seem to have better results with washing only once a day.
Now, let me explain to you the loooong process of how washing my face last night went. So first I splashed my face to get it wet with warm water, then started exfolating with a wash cloth. I ended up irrating all of my pimples since I had to run over them a whole bunch of times so hopefully that didn't ruin anything. I got tons of dead skin off so I decided to go ahead and wash with my face wash. I lathered it up, and rubbed it all over my face for 15 or so seconds. I rinsed it off and then I noticed something really weird. All of the sudden, a whole bucket load of dead skin was on my face so I tried to rub it off with the washcloth but it literally wouldn't stop. The washcloth would become full of dead skin, but my skin still had flakes and dead skin on it. It was really strange. I guess I never noticed just how much dead skin had built up. I still don't think I get rid of it all, but I eventually gave up. I patted my face dry with a towel and put on my moisturizer. Oh, I forgot to mention, the dead skin that has always been on the sides of my face didn't really come off but then again I didn't really expect it too.
So this morning, I get up, look in the mirror, and am quite surprised. My skin looks pretty good. My pores aren't visible yet and my skin wasn't red at all. Right now, I have 5-6 pimples on my forehead (and some of them are quite big), 2-3 on each cheek and 4-5 on my chin. So kind of breaking out right now, but I don't mind. I haven't started spot treating yet, perhaps I will in a couple of days. I'll probably start getting oily again in a couple of days. I just hope I don't get as oily as I was before.
Now onto the topic of makeup. I'm not going to wear any face makeup for about a week. I want my skin just to get used to washing again. I might starting wearing a mineral powder makeup again, we'll see.
I want to thank everyone that has been supportive and/or posted in my log! Especially you, Ashley!
I won't be making a new log of my regimen. So thanks again!

I think I will not exfoliate for the next 4 weeks. Right now, I don't seem to have any dead skin on my face, so who knows what'll happen. I will update every now then. Right now, I am breaking out fairly bad but I expected it since my skin doesn't have that "barrier" anymore. I have 6 or so pimples on my forehead, 2 on my left cheek, 1 on my right cheek and a couple tiny ones on my chin. And unfortunately they are all quite noticable. But I expected that as well. My skin is looking kind of crappy again. My pores are all visible and my skin has a red tone to it as well. And it's oily again. Bleh, I really hate that. Oh, and when you say wash less and less until I find a medium do you mean just not wash my face or splash with water still? That does make sense, by the way, about the whole dead skin thing. I probably shouldn't have tried to remove it. Oh well, I know for next time if I ever decided to try a water regimen again. (which I probably will.)

UPDATE!
So what I've been doing for the past 3 days is washing with products one day, washing with water the next. I'm going to be doing that for awhile. Hopefully my skin won't be as oily and will look a bit better. Unfortunately, the breakouts just keep on coming. My face looks kind of gross right now. I have tons of pimples on my forehead, and oddly enough, tons on my right cheek only. My skin also has tons of dead skin on it but I will not exfoliate it!
It's been a week since I stopped the water-regimen. Not that that really matters. I'm kind of regreting it but whatever, I can always just start back up again.

Update.
So I know I said I was going to keep doing water one night, products the next for awhile but I've decided that going 2 nights with water, then the next with products works much better for my skin. My skin isn't as oily and it looks a bit better so far. Whenever I wash with products, I always notice so much dead skin after I rinse my face wash off. And when I rub my moisturizer in, it kind of rubs the dead skin off a bit so I actually think thats a good thing because it's exfoliating a bit. Clearly my skin has a shedding problem. I know I wasn't going to exfolaite for the next 4 weeks but I'm really actually meaning to, it just kind of happens. So far my forehead has lots of pimples/clogs and they keep coming. But my nose, cheeks, and chin are looking alright. I have some small pimples on my chin but none on my inner cheeks and nose!
