Okay, this is me after working out.
Overlooking the horrific greasiness of my face, does the redness imply that i have rosacea?
This is how my cheeks get when i flush, except it gets slightly worse when i am in a hot/stuffy room, and/or nervous about something.

Thanks

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i recently found out that i have extremely high levels of both testosterone and estradiol (estrogen)
Could those results be an indicator as to why i flush so often?

the pics arent the best since i took them with my phone, and since acne.org only allows me to post 2 pics per thread, these are the best i could do.
Considering that, you could also assume that the redness in the pics is twice as worse, at least, in person.
As you can see, the redness is pretty severe next to my nose, but what you probably cant see is that the redness goes all the way up to my temples at about the same redness.

Hey nick. I'm happy in a weird way because your skin is "exactly" the same as mine. The rednesss next to the nose all the way up to the temples and the same kind of texture to it. Mines been like it for well over a year now and I still haven't found a cure so I can't help. Will be going to docotors again though so will hit you up with any progress.,

It looks like Rosacea to me.....a good indicator is that you acknowledge you flush when in hot, stuffy rooms or when nervous. There are some things that can help......definitely make an appointment with a good Dermatologist and you should be feeling better about it smile.gif
Best of luck Nick!

Could you get a picture of your nose? I think I see bumps... Which I have. This looks like my face! besides the fact, you're a guy and stuff. But, yeah. I want to go to a dermatologist, but I'm afraid of what my mom might say. She'll probably say that its a waste of money... Which was the saem excuse she used when I fractured my foot....

I think it is Rosacea. A friend of mine have the same problem and the dermatologist said the she avoid some foods that may trigger the symptoms, check out the following:

  • dairy including yogurt, sour cream, cheese (except cottage cheese);
  • alcohol including red wine, beer, vodka, gin, bourbon, and champagne;
  • chocolate;
  • soy sauce;
  • yeast extract;
  • eggplants, avocados, spinach;
  • some beans and pods, including lima, navy or peas;
  • citrus fruits, including tomatoes, bananas, red plums, raisins, or figs;
  • spicy and temperature hot foods.
