I know how desperate you are to get clear skin already. I lived with acne problems from high school until 29 years of age:( That's 15 years of agony. It held me back from doing sooo many things and I will always regret that. I spent soooo much money and time thinking about it and trying to find something, anything to work for me. I have tried all kinds of treatments including: micro dermabration, proactive, murad acne system, acne.org regimen, numerous over the counter drug store brands, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, and on and on. All of the money!! I hate to think of it still. WELL I FOUND IT!! I am 30 years old and have had clear skin now for almost a year. Never been more happy about life and I just feel like I should tell you what has finally worked for me in case it could be what works for you also. Even if this helps just one person out there. I just want you to feel as happy as I finally do after so long struggling with the horrible problem. My whole life is better without acne. It changes EVERYTHING.

A year ago I started consistently drinking more water, taking a multivitamin, fish oil, and vitamin D-3. But here is what I believe really worked for me.
I USE NO MOISTURIZER!!
I still wear some make-up and wash my face when I take a shower with my usual face wash(i use st ives breakout control apricot scrub once or twice a day). I do not use a moisturizer or any other acne treatments.(in the beginning i used my favorite acne spot treatment with salicylic acid by clean and clear) I know it sounds too easy. If you are someone that has major acne problems then this might not work for you. But if you are someone who always just has black and white heads in certain areas of your face, gets the really red popping kind of pimples a couple times a week, and the occasional mountain zit that hurts then this will work for you.

My skin does get a little dry and flaky in some areas in the winter without using moisturizer but I have no pimples so I don't care! I sometimes do use a tiny bit of dan's jojoba oil but that's it. I love my skin now and don't have to wear makeup unless I want to. I feel pretty even without makeup now...FINALLY!

Please, Please try this and ask me about it. I will answer you. I know how frustrated you are.

Stacey

Oh well, we should still be happy for her! I agree... people should chill out on products. Even if she has very mild acne, it's still a good lesson

I am not saying that all the acne treatments are scams at all. Different things just work for different people and different types of acne problems. People with much more severe acne problems might very well need to use more acne treatments. This is just what finally worked for me and I wanted to share it in hopes that it would help someone out there with the same type of skin.
