i m 17 yrs old n its been sumtym dat i hv strtd smokin ....................
i jst wana knw day does cigarette cause or increases acne or acne marks on face ....????

hey. cigarettes most likely make acne worse, i am almost positive. i don't know for sure, but the toxins in cigarettes have countless negative effects on the body, including dilating blood vessels and impairing your immune system. you should stop smoking. your skin will probably get better, and so will a lot of other things...not to mention long term damage (older smokers age really fast and have wrinkles etc. etc. not to mention cancer emphysema..not to be totally annoying but smoking cigarettes is the worst thing you can do to yourself really))

Say no to cigarettes n alcohol.. these momentary pleasures are very harmful for skin. The guy above has explained the facts. Though iam telling u from my personal experiace.. iam 18 n my acne's were quite rare before but after i started drinking and smoking.. god the condition has detoriated a lot! One of my elder cousin was also facing acne problems while he was under strict medications.. still no signs of improvement, the moment he quit smoking things became clear to him.. So i would recommend better sacrifice momentary pleasure than getting permanent damage!

you are right brother that there is many toxins in cigarettes which is the main cause for formation or our physical spoliation.I am sure that cigarette is very harmful for our skin.
