Im fairy new to this site and have read loads of people's responses to how they apply their creams to their faces etc. Heres mine and give your opinion or advice if you could.
Morning
- Just use any cheap handwash soap and apply it to my wet skin and then wash off.
I used to use clearasil, garnier and everything else but my doctor said they dont do any difference in appearance to the skin.
Throughout the day
- Palmers Cocoa butter.
I will generally apply this on my scarring throughout the day if i have a spare hour or so, but will almost definatly do it from 6-12pm
- Quinoderm
I apply quinoderm on only spots themselves and keep applying when the cream has gone.
Night
- Wash my face with the hand soap again
- Put some more quinoderm and palmers on
Can anyone guide me for some advice?? Thanks so much!
My daily skin regime (opinions etc)

I would suggest using a cleanser intended for the face. Hand skin is very different from fragile face skin and can handle harsher cleansers. Plus hand soaps are often highly fragranced, which is a possible source of irritation. If you want something cheap and easy, you could try Purpose gentle cleansing bar or if you're willing to spend a little more for a liquid, the Purpose liquid cleanser is also gentle. A nice gentle facial cleanser should be a lot less drying and irritating than a hand soap.
