I've used quinoderm for years now, I apply it directly on my spot but i've read some people saying that they rub it into their skin???
Doesn't it burn your skin? sometimes when i apply it on my spot my skin goes really red for days because its burnt. How much do you apply onto your skin?
I would think this is quite dangerous, but if people have done it and it improves your skin ill do it.
Would be greatful for your help and tips on this like how many times a day and stuff.
thanks guys! x

I havnt used quinoderm
but i am using Panoxyl 2.5 , another very powerful bp.
I think the best thing to do is mix the bp with water in the palm of your hand or some sort of oil to make it less dense, then put it onto your face, try and make the solution 30% Bp and 70% other liquid but I dont really know how quinoderm works, so it might need some testing.
You can still wait for it to sink in and put moisturizer onto it.

I would guess that it depends on your individual skin.
I use quinoderm (the 10% one) and I plaster it on like a face mask twice a day. My skin is so oily that it never dries it out completely, although I do occasionally notice some flaky skin on my cheeks.
From time to time I get that burning sensation too but not very often.
However, I like to apply the cream to slightly damp skin as I find it spreads about better....... I don't know if this has the effect of diluting the medication?

I only break out around my mouth. I plaster it on (5%) with a whole fingers worth morning and night. I don't find it as drying as gels like Dan's and Panoxyl. I sometimes forget to put moisturiser on and get away without drying out too much. I've been using BP for over 10 years so you might be different

Started using Quinoderm a little while ago. I was a bit over-enthusiastic and ended up with two huge burns. Learnt the hard way I guess.
Rather than rubbing it in, I decided just to dab a little bit onto a spot and just leave it. That's better, but it still goes red. Don't think my skin likes BP very much.
But, if you want to stick with it, I'd suggest just dabbing it onto the spot.
