I wanted to try a glycolic acid face wash because of the hyperpigmentation and acne scars that I have, I have more scars than I have acne. Is it safe to use on my skin though, I am 17 years old and do not want to cause more damage. In addition is it safe to use around the eye area.

I have found two cleanser which have glycolic acid, the first 10% and the second 3%


Bravura Detoxifying Cleansing Gel 100ml 10%

Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid Facial Wash 3%


I was planning on only using this in the night as I do not want to risk sun damage. Which cleanser should I purchase, these, another or none at all?
