thyroid is a good point.. i think many people do have thyroid problems.. the thing is.. it's not so simple.. there's T1 and T2 thyroid problems.. you can have elevated both.. lowered both.. or one elevated and one lowered.. if you take medication to increase thyroid T2 where the problem is low T1.. i can just make things worse.. i think rebel is correct in trying to heal it naturally.. which from what i've read.. is to eat more calories of 'good' food.. protein, carbs, and fat.. without the refined sugars.. so you can get your metabolism back up to speed and your body temperature higher.. back to a normal level.. do either of you.. rebel or wibble.. have symptoms like being colder than other people? or cold hands and feet?

healing thyroid could very well stop or reduce sebum.. it could even be a better mechanism then biotin inhibition.. i suspect biotin inhibition just makes it almost impossible to make sebum.. where the thyroid idea you presented wibble.. may regulate it to a 'healthy' level by some other mechanism.. or maybe even it relates to biotin somehow.. i can't know i guess.. but i'm gonna research further.. i've already been looking into healing thyroid cause i am always colder than my friends.. and if i shake their hands or something.. they're always suddenly surprised at how cold my hands are..

wibble.. i agree the vit a could and probably is working on more levels than just the biotin angle..

rebel.. does it say how slow/long the time released capsules are? i'd base it on that.. ie.. when one is supposed to have been absorbed.. take another.. if not.. an arbitrary time would work fine i think.. every 2-3 hours?
i wouldn't worry much about the stomach acid idea.. because firstly it's mainly out of your control to any consistent degree.. and the theory would mean that we aren't getting much of it from our food.. since the b5 has worked for many people.. i don't think you need to worry about it.. drinking some extra water could help slightly make your stomach less acidic when taking the pill..

the time release b5 says that 'a sustained time realease version of b5' doesnt state the time etc...
well,i just received my vitamins yesterday..and started a whole new regimen today...

morning empty stomach... 500mg b5, acidophillus pearls.
morning after breakfast... 1000mg b5 time realease

afternoon empty stomach... 500mg b5, acidophilus pearls
afternoon after lunch..... 1000mg b5 time realease

night empthy stomach... 500mg b5, acidophillus pearls
night after dinner... 1000mg b5 time realease, Vit A & D (dry version; retinicyl acetate and cholaceiforel)

before bed- multi mineral 100% of the several needed minerals etc... + boron 3mg...

well, in the previous post you mentioned garlic conains a lot of biotin..and saw that yes it isone of those herbs with loads of biotin... but has that antibacterial effects- i might try to incorporate this after a while though...
and for the multi mineral, 1 servings of it is 4 capsules...am likely gonna take 2 capsules after a week daily..but 4 caps for now...
Lastly ...during my time span of carrying on with this regimen...i will stop masturbation(i hope)
oh yeah, and i intend not to snack(espcially sugary foods)...will definitely try to cut out carbs in a way..but i doubt that would be possible for me...

and this time i think i am gonn
a stick with this regimen for a while cause i have invested quite a bit here... anyways cheers...

Well guys..
I too have very oily skin (not now because im currently on accutane)
Im allways training and have done since i was a young boy.
My body defences has allways been bad so i have struggeled a lot with is getting the flu very easily. After a while i could actually know when i was getting sick because i allways had a small breakout 2-3 days before. So i guess in my case the bacteria also plas a big part.
Regarding Masturbation i also have the feeling that it will enhance my acne because after the "ordeal" my skin feels very tingling.
Others have the same experience??

Im 183cm and weigh 80 kg so i am in good shape. and have allways been thin and trained.

Well my diet isnt all that bad now. I have had bad diet for some time but the last two years im trying to eat more healthy. i usully eat bread at the morning , rice at lunch and dinner i eat a lot of potatoes and fish. in the weekends i eat pizza etc but when i was younger i was only eating hotdogs pizza taco etc all the day

If you find the oil comes back a month or so after accutane (it did for me), try swapping the faster carbs for slower ones, and make sure there's lots of green veg with some orange ones in there too
. So the pizza, bread, potatoes especially swap out for something else.

I'm guessing you want some of those carbs for training, if so maybe I'd make sure the quicker carbs are only eaten for the training spells (maybe even not then).
