Did anybody try tea tree oil for oily skin?
I use jojoba oil at night and I'm thinking about mixing tea tree oil with jojoba oil at night to see if it will help with my oily skin during the day.

TTO breaks me out and is very drying for most. All TTO products I've used have made me incredibly oily and dried out.

They made you oily AND dried out?? Please explain what you mean. By "drying" and "dried out", are you referring specifically to a lack of moisture?

I was surprised when I first heard about TTO being used to stop oiliness, because I had already been using it for several months as an acne treatment and my face was as oily as it had ever been.

It can control oil. I use tea tree oil mixed with my moisturizer every night and sometimes when I wake up my face won't really be oily at all and sometimes it's just as oily as ever. It's odd. Like actually on Christmas morning when I woke up, my face wasn't even oily. I could face my presents without shine lol.
