In the middle of Week 7, and my skin is somewhat back to normal. After the monthly breakout and issues with major flakes, I've gotten back on track. Still waiting on my shipment--it left the LA FedEx Smart Post facility this morning, which means it will probably be around Wednesday or Thursday of next week when I get it.
Still have the usual--very small whiteheads and bunches of blackheads, but not as much red as there once was.
I'm sorry there's not much to report. I'm wondering what will happen when I start using the AHA...we'll see if there's any change in the results. But I'm sticking to this, and I hope you guys are doing the same!

So, Week 8 has started. Still the same ol' story--blackheads, small whiteheads. I was bad and picked at a pustule at the corner of my mouth, and now it looks bad, so I'm waiting on that to heal. Got my shipment of stuff in yesterday, which was good since I ran out of cleanser Wednesday evening. Tried out the AHA last night--it's thin and goes on easy and really doesn't burn. We'll see what results come of it.
I've been wearing make-up since I went back to work, and I've found that using my tinted moisturizer and finishing with a dusting of my Mary Kay mineral foundation looks REALLY good. This is a bit of a shock simply because my skin has still looked bad with any foundation (even my favorite) and got oily within a few hours of wear. Now I go through the entire day with my skin looking and feeling comfortable--it's amazing!

Ugggh...today was an ugly day. Took pics this morning after doing my DKR, and I just thought my skin looked horrid in the pics. But, I'm still going to post them as progress; I don't know if my skin's doing another purge or if it's reacting to the AHA or what.
But, I've had a good make up day, so I'll post my pic of that as well, so I at least have one decent pic in the bunch.

Oki, so, I'm well into Week 9, which means I've been on the DKR for just about two months. I did some collages of my first photos and my most recent. Albeit, the photos are taken from different distances, but I do see some progress. It still looks like one side of my face is getting the heavy red mark treatment. Hopefully it will fade.

Hey
I started about 2 weeks after you did, are you using 2 pumps of BP yet? and have you had any problems with extreme flakiness/dryness? Your skin looks awesome and so moisturized, I must be doing something wrong lol.

Thanks for visiting, accushame! I did reply to your post, but I did think of something that may be a difference. I have very oily skin. Before I started the DKR, my skin would be super oily through out the day, my make up would wear off long before my work day ended, and I was very uncomfortable. Now that I'm on the regimen, my skin is finally comfortable and my make up stays without my skin feeling oily at all! It may be that the 2 pumps is too much for you right now. My suggestion is ramp it down to one pump until the flakes are gone, then slowly ramp it up to 1 1/2 pumps, and then up to the 2.
One other thing I noticed--my skin went crazy the week of my most recent period. I had a breakout (which apparently is common, but since I always lived with breakouts, I guess I never noticed it until it happened this time) and my skin was uber-flaky, so I cut back to a smaller amount of BP, and when it was over, I was able to bump it up to the 2 pumps, and everything's okay. You just have to figure out what exactly works for you. Just remember to be patient and don't give up!

I've been MIA for two weeks, but I'm still keeping up with Regimen, though I'm experiencing so much dryness and flakes. It's been over the past week or so, after I bumped up my BP to two pumps again. I guess I just have to stick to one and a half. I've also experienced a few more breakouts, which is frustrating. But I'm still holding on--I mean, heck, I'm almost into my 3rd month! Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi! Your skin is looking amazing!!
I really like the makeup you did and lately have been having trouble with mine blending well and making my face too dry! Do you have any suggestions for foundations?
