I just know this will come off like an advertisement, but I don't really care. I've been using this product for probably a bit over a month now and I absolutely love it. Nothing controls my oily skin as well as this.

In fact, I went from what most people would probably consider to "really oily" to what I would consider "normal." My t-zone was an oil slick before this product. I would literally shower in the morning and barely 2 hours later my face would be greasy. It claims to remove up to 85% of oil from your face with it's patent pending "rice protein" formula. 85% sounds about right, because although my face isn't completely oil-free, it's completely manageable. Since we all know excess sebum = frequent breakouts, I find that I'm breaking out less often with this product also.

I've never had such success with a product that actually lived up to its name. There's another product in the same Deep Clean Long Last Shine Control series (holy crap that's a long name) that's a scrub. I stay away from exfoliating stuff nowadays because I find it breaks me out. Stick with the cleanser mask. It's both a cleanser and a mask. As a cleanser, I just use it in the shower and that works nicely. I find that it's good to use it as a mask after you shower and your face is clean. It feels really cool and refreshing and you can pretty much feel it sucking the oil out of your face. The box it came in said to leave it on for 15-20 minutes, but sometimes I'll leave it on overnight (maybe not the best idea, but it doesn't irritate my skin at all which is another huge +) First time I used it, the 85% seemed a bit far fetched. I would have said about 50%. But the more I used it, I found that it was really beginning to decrease how oily my face was getting (even on days when I didn't use the product.) I would always wake up with my skin being more-than-average oily, but now I wake up and it looks completely normal. Now the 85% seems very accurate. Another pleasant and unexpected side-effect I found is that it actually got rid of some of the blackheads on my nose.

Texture: Creamy, smooth, doesn't foam in water. It's a pretty light-blue color. Doesn't irritate my skin either.
Smell: Neutrogena smell. Smells pretty soapy, but not some astringent chemical smell.
Cost: $20 for 2 tubes from the Neutrogena website (including shipping.) Not bad. Totally worth it.

There honestly isn't anything bad I can say about this product. Screw the hundreds of dollars I spent on blotting papers over the years.

All of you get this product right now if you're looking to control your oily skin. Any questions feel free to ask.

I checked out the link you sent. When I come across a sentence like this in product marketing text I cringe:

"You'll feel the cooling intensity build as it goes deep down"

This sentence is completely meaningless. What does a 'cooling intensity' have to do with an anti shine product? Shiny skin is not hot skin - it's just shiny skin. In my opinion all credibility is lost at this sentence.

I haven't tried this specific product but I've tried other oil control products. None of these products worked for me. I found that my skin goes really tight and dry for about 30 mins but after a day or two of starting to use the product my skin breaks out much worse than before.

It's great that it works for you!

It's not really the same tingly feeling you get from something like a mint julep mask. Hard to explain. tongue.gif

I've tried a couple of shine-control products before from Clinique and Clearasil but they literally did nothing to control my oily skin. I really would recommend trying it, because apparently that rice protein thing in this product is what makes it work so well to control oil throughout the day.

Also it doesn't make my skin feel tight, which I don't like either in products because it makes me think that it's drying my skin out way too much.

I'm going to try and pick this up at the store today!

I know you said that it doesn't dry out your skin too much, but is there any ingredients that would pose a potential threat for skin irritation?

Thanks smile.gif I hope this stuff works as good as you say it does.

Cold, tingly feeling = irritation. Whether the effects are immediate, or not.
