so day 3:
I had a previous red mark swell up and come to a head so I popped it and now it is just red and im waiting on it to heal. Healing seems a bit quicker with bp.
I'm going out drinking tonight which always seems to cause a big breakout, but i will still try to do the regimen tonight no matter how drunk i might be haha.

As expected I got too drunk last night and went to bed without doing the regimen... and my skin payed for it today. I got 2 irritated bumps that are not pop-able
I'm going to a party tomorrow and will hopefully not drink to much again and forget to do the regimen at night, however that will be tough.

Keep in mind that you shouldn't add in the AHA until you've been on The Regimen for a month or so. ; )

I woke up and my skin was a little dry and flaky but wasn't too bad until I showered and washed with dan's cleanser. Definitely am getting very dry skin. Still getting regular breakouts but I noticed that they are healing a bit quicker. still haven't shaved in a while but i'm scared too because i dont want to show my bare skin with pimples and all.

One new one that hasn't come to a head yet, but its right on the hairline on my forehead so its hidden thank goodness. Other than that nothing new. All my pustules that i had popped a few days ago are healing nicely. Im not getting too dry yet but I wont hold my breath. I'm not applying too much yet, just enough to cover my face and nothing more. My hockey season ended today so I am going to shave my moustache and beard tomorrow. Overall I am pleased.
I also forgot to include some details about myself so here we go:
I am a 21 year old male from Canada who is active and has a great out take on life. My acne isn't horrible but it still affects my confidence. I get mostly pustules on my jawline and rarely on my forehead and upper lip.

Well Movember is over now so i shaved mostly everything (left a chinstrap) and I had a few red marks on my upper lip and a small pimple that was popped easily. other than that my skin is in good shape. nothing new forming or anything to be concerned about. My skin is a little bit dry but thats because the moisturizer had trouble absorbing through my beard. Overall good progress! Excite to start week 2 tomorrow. I dont think i will ramp up the bp too much as it seems to be working nicely. I also dont want to dry out my skin too bad. Gunna take it slow.
On a side note I shaved with gillette clear skin shaving cream then moisturized with dans moisturizer with a few drops of jojoba oil. not sure if thats ok but it didnt seem to irritate my skin yet.

(day 8)
Woke up this morning to dry skin which kind of sucked, but i just put some jojoba oil and moisturizer on so its all good. I have a pretty small white head near my chin which isn't a problem but also an un-popable pimple along my right jawline. thank goodness my chin strap covers it. So 2 1/2 active pimples including the one right on my hairline on my forehead. Not bad, but the jawline one is bugging me because I have applied bp in that exact area since i've been on the regimen. oh well. Other than that face looks alright, still have red marks that i hope don't scar.
Overall pleased with progress!! thanks to all for reading.

Well i got one new active spot but i popper it easily so hopefully the red spot recovers quickly. I noticed that my skin is getting VERY VERY VERY dry!! uh oh. especially around my mouth and under my eye. I used so much moisturizer but its still ridiculously dry. I haven't even ramped up the bp dosage. It sucks. although i am pretty much clear I am so dry its almost as bad as the pimples. I hope my skin gets used to it soon because I never realized that being so dry sucked this much. Also my skin is quite red where most of the dry spots are. Acne is getting better but skin is looking much worse. hmm.....

Used a tad bit less BP and my skin is still very dry but i guess not as much as before. Got one small pustule right on my lip but it was easily pop-able and not noticeable at all. Spots are healing pretty quick. Just wish that the dryness wasn't such an issue. Whenever im out im always so self-conscious about my skin being dry. better than pimples tho. Hopefully i will be quite clear for christmas with my fam!!

I am going through the same thing! my skin is sooooo dry and flaky. today i was so self conscious outside in public. I don't know if I should decrease the BP amount or just try exfoliationg with jojoba oil before i wash, in order to get dead skin off

Traveled to a friends for the weekend. had a lot of fun. Forgot to apply bp in the morning on thursday. We went drinking thursday and friday and I still managed to apply some bp at night!
Got a stubborn big red one on my lower check, just above my jawline, one small pustule that i popped right under my lip and then two smallish inflamed bumps on the upper lip. After drinking i notice that my upper lip gets a few so it was expected but it still sucks. Skin is still dry, but not increasing the amount of bp has made it manageable. I have a date on wed so hopefully all the red bumps go away and the ones that i popped heal quickly. Happy with progress, hoping that the new pimples are just purging.

Woke up this morning to a nodule on my jawline. no head so i cant pop it. I hate it when i get these. hopefully it goes away quickly with some extra bp on the area. also a small pimple that i popped around my mouth area which shouldnt be a problem (fingers crossed). other than these i only have 1 recovering red spot from a previous pimple. all in all not too bad.

Everything is going well. week old pimples are disappearing and only have 1 active pimple on my jawline that i just popped. it was the back of my jawline kind of on my neck where im not sure i apply the bp, but still sucks. wasn't huge or anything. but that is the only active pimple i have. face is looking nice, very happy with results thus far. perfect time too because i just started seeing this girl and i am going home for christmas!! with clear skin
hurray!!
