Hi,

Due to a few spots now and again turning in to full blown acne over the past year Ive been to the doctors many times to cure this upsetting and frustrating problem.

2 weeks ago on my 21st birthday I got put on Oxytetracline.

It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow that I started my course and so far ive seen no improvement whatsoever. If anything I think its got a little bit worse. I currently have spots around my mouth, up my cheeks and around my jaw line, I do also get the odd one on my forehead.

I started a new skincare regimen yesterday so I can keep updating on that too, my regimen is as follows:

Morning & Night:

Clinique Anti-blemish foam wash.
Clinique Anti-blemish Clarifying Lotion.
Skinoren (anzelic acid cream)
Clinque Anti-blemish moisturiser.

Just at night I put a dab of calamine lotion or sudocrem on my active and healing spots.

They say for oxytetracline that it can take from 4-6 weeks before any improvement is known.

Fingers crossed by Christmas my skin will be looking a whole lot better. I'll be updating this at least every week, mostly I hope it'll help me keep to one regimen for longer than a week.
