Hey guys

For the past 2 years I've always treated my nose at night with BP or some other sort of topical.

For the last 4-6 weeks I've not been using topicals on my nose and has since experienced a lot less spots and a lot less oil.

However, I find that there are a lot more blackheads!

Blackheads > Oil.

Yesterday the shower was being fixed so I couldn't have a shower / wash my face and my nose was dry as a bone all day! So today instead of having a shower > washing face thoroughly with water > patting dry I just woke up and splashed my face with coldish water and then didn't let any water hit my face in the shower. It seems as if hot water provokes my nose to produce oil and if I stay in the shower for too long the same...

So yea, my advice is.

1.Stop using topicals
2.Don't wash you face too much
3.Don't let the water hit your face in the shower.

I've only been doing the cold water splash thing for 2 days but my nose is actually normal at the moment and come to think of it before I started using BP I never ever had an oily nose.

How bad was your oil on your nose?
