Just bought some Quinoderm 5% to use for a regimen with cetapil mositurizering lotion to apply afterwards. I have used panoxyl 2.5 BP but found that it would only be effective for afew days then i would break out again. It didnt make my skin dry but was wondering if the step up to a 5% BP will dry my face out badly. Can anyone give any advice or tips on how to prevent the dryness if it occurs ?
Thanks

as with all BP based products your face should dry out a bit. it shouldn't do too much more than the panoxyl (and in fact will probably be nicer on your skin in my experience of quinoderm and panoxyl).
maybe have to use a bit more moisturiser, but you shouldn't go from being okay with the 2.5% then really dry with 5%.
I use cetaphil moisturising lotion too, and when i was using 5%bp it worked just fine, can take a while to rub in though...
