Effective EYE moisturizer? Anyone here got a tip?

I used to have a very good skin. Smooth and supple and wrinkle-free. But i had terrible a acne and I got rid of them because of using BP. Now my skin is back to being smooth and marks are fading away. When I started using BP, the skin surrounding my eyes began to wrinkle even though I avoided to apply BP on it.

I need an effective EYE moisturizer. I have tried a lot of eye products but it's making my eyes puffy.

I heard L'Oreal eye defense is good and the Obagi Serum C.

Any tips and advices?

The Body Shop have a great Vitamin E Serum - it's not specifically made for eyes but is an intense moisturiser. They also have a Vitamin C Serum. I've never researched eye creams for wrinkles but the Vitamin E moisture and Vitamin C collagen production would prob be a great combination!

And another thing, I just use regular moisturizer on my neck and eyes, but make sure to moisturize these areas after cleansing, and before BP. Otherwise you'll be taking BP to these areas and making them drier.

eusa_think.gif hmm... good tip. But the skin surrounding the eyes are very sensitive I need a cream especially made for the eyes or else active ingredients will make it worst. I'll have a look for it.

I like Lumene Excellent Future eye cream for that bracket smile.gif It works well. I got it at CVS.

I loooooooove castor oil as a eye/lip moisturizer. I use a BP cleanser that dries me out pretty well...CeraVe takes care of most of my face, but the castor oil is great for eyes/lips. It's thicker than most oils, but it's the ONLY oil that doesn't break me out. Anything else I'd use (even vitamin E) would give me zits in my eyebrows or upper eyelid when used as an eye moisturizer. People on makeupalley.com swear by it to remove wrinkles. It's a pretty unique oil, and it's also AMAZING for eyelashes.

I second Vitamin E as an under eye moisturizer. Nature's Gate Roll On Vitamin E Oil is amazing smile.gif Plus it's pure Vitamin E aka all natural and $8-ish bucks at Whole Food's.

Hi, girls!

Couldn't find the Lumene Excellent Future eye cream. I got this Garnier eye cream instead it made my eye puffy! Then a friend gave me Givenchy Power Youth eye cream still puffy... I will go to the Bodyshop next week to get this Vitamin E cream. we'll see.

If you decide to try the Nature's Gate Roll On Vitamin E, I actually wouldn't suggest it anymore. My mom uses it, but I used it under my eyes the other night to test it out and it was SUPER sticky (like high IU's of PURE Vitamin E is, which I didn't know lol) and gross feeling. Plus when I woke up, the fine lines under my eyes were more pronounced. I guess it doesn't work on younger eyes? I don't know, but sorry for suggesting a crappy product in the first place =P

When i was searching for eyes creams the sales lady said i should not use any eye creams at all as I am young and below 30. IDK if there's an eye cream for young women like us.

That is really weird. I think it's best to start at age 20 for stuff like this... most dermatologists say so too. Prevention is a much easier ball game than fixing what's already damaged. Olay's eye cream is supposed to be really good...

Yeh I agree with you and I heard Olay regenerist eye cream is good. What do you think?

Yes that is the one I was thinking of. smile.gif I have fine lines under my eyes and have for awhile and I'm only 19! So unfortunately I have had to try a few... still trying :/
