Hey everyone,

I just have a question. Does evening primrose oil work? I mean, does it help stop the pimple from forming? I think it does. I've been using it for like 2 months now. That time I was taking it, I didn't breakout on my jaw and I was really happy about it. then stopped because I ran out of EPO last week. Maybe that's the reason why I brokeout on my jaw, idk.

if any of you wants to share what vitamin or supplement that helps you fight acne that'd be greaat!

Thanks!

I started taking Omega 3 6 9 with evening primrose oil in it about 2 weeks ago in hopes that the epo would help my PMS breakouts. Before that I was just taking Omega 3. I can honestly say it helped a little this month. I got my period yesterday and I only had 2 PMS breakouts this month as opposed to like the 10 or so I usually get. I also started B6 today because I heard that it also helps with hormonal acne, which is mainly what mine is around that time of the month, so we'll see how it works in the future. As for other acne vitamins I take a women's mutli one a day and zinc. I also take ACV in pill form.

Hey, this may sound dumb but what does Omega 3 6 9 do? Yeah, EPO's great until I ran out. Does it matter if I changed the brand of EPO I was taking?

Thanks for your response, btw (:

I don't think changing the brand should matter. Omega 3 6 9 is all the fatty oils your skin needs to look better. Especially Omega 3, which is mainly found in fish oil. You'll see most of the people on this site take some sort of Omega 3 or Omega 3 6 9 supplement. You're welcome biggrin.gif

Work for regulating hormone level in long period and under certain circumstance. I have ever used this supplement with high sugar diet and high fatty food, and, indeed i could reduce my break out.

Keep trying. Linoleic Acid and Gamma Linolenic Acid are good for the body and skin. Changing the lipid components in your skin helps (.. in time), there is hydratation and skin look healthy. Good Luck.
