So the multivitamin and the fish oil I have been taking for a while but the zinc and the D I just got today and used as I described above, 1 tablet of each per day.
So with the tablets and the multivitamin together I'm getting a total of:
-1,800 IU of vitamin D per day
-45 mg of zinc per day
plus...
-2,400-3,600 mg of fish oil per day (is that too much? I didn't think I could take too much of that but I'm not sure)
-the rest of what's in the multivitamin alone.
I bought the extra zinc and D supplements because I've read on this site that both may have great benefits for acne. Should I be taking more of either or both of them to see the best results? I don't want to take more than I'd have to but I don't want to be wasting them by not taking the right doses and getting no results. I know that results aren't a sure thing but I'd like to give it a chance to see if some kind of deficiency is part of my problem.
If anyone who happens to be very knowledgable in this subject could help me out by at least saying whether I'm on the right track, I'd appreciate it a lot. Advice or tips would be awesome too.
And finally I just want to clarify that I'm not treating vitamins as a "cure" for my acne, just as something extra I can do to promote overall health for my body which will hopefully aid in getting consistently clearer skin.
Thanks in advance
