[Acne SUCKS.]

I have this ~pimple~ on my chest area (not boobs), like an inch under my collar bone and it's been there for 4 months.

It's a pinkish colour and it WONT go away. theres a really faint white tiny head on it, but you cant really see it.

= = is this a scar? or just a stubborn pimple?

That's a hypertrophic scar. So if yours looks like that, I'd assume it's safe to say that's what it is.

Is it still inflamed? Is there still an active infection? Pain/warmth? If so, its still an active lesion.

If the inflammation has subsided and the "bump" is still there long after, then yes its likely a hypertrophic scar. Many do recede with time.

i think i might have some hypertrophic scarring on my forehead. I have had pimples that once gone, left like mini raised pih that look like pimples.

If these are hypertrophic scars, what can i do to fix them?

It could just be a stubborn pimple. Does it ooze any? I have had a pimple on my nipple no lie for YEARS every so often I will squeeze it and it will ooze. And then it refills, and does it again. It could be inflamation of a wound.

It's been a while and this "pimple" is still here. I think its safe to say it's a hypertrophic scar. Man, is it too late to heal it? will it stay here forever?
