I have extreme oily skin. It's very difficult to dealt with. I breakout occasionally from extreme oily skin. I can see my sebum oozing through after 20 min of washing.

I will be doing an update frequently.

Current regimen: 2-3g of Vitamin B5, Jojoba oil on my nose area, 1-2 times a day.
I will be boosting my vitamin dosage in a week.

Vitamin B5 - Day 6: got rid of blemishes very fast in the first 2-3 days. I didn't see any improvement in oily skin. Again, I realize that 2-3g is a really small dose but my stomach hurts occasionally and I'm going to give some time for my body to adjust.

Jojoba Oil - Day 1: Applied on nose area to see how my body reacts to it.

I have a feeling that using 1-2g of B5 will increase the oil production.
I read that even with excess of 1-3g B5 in our body, it could still only produce more hormones and etc, which in turn would produce more oil.

When in great excess such as 6-10g, only then the body will create coenzymes to breakdown fat.
Any thoughts?

I've used 2g of B5 twice a day.
My upper lip is chapped and the area below my lip is very slightly peeled.
HOWEVER, I don't see any oil reduction on my nose or my forehead area which gets really really oily.

Should I increase my dosage further?
Any ideas?

I do see a decrease in oil to about 40-50% with 4g of B5, 2g taken each.
I do feel bloated and gassy all the time.. I tried popping the pills with food. Doesn't work..
Anybody have a solution to this?

I'm going to bump up my dosage to 5-6g + 2 pills of acnescript per day starting tomorrow to see if it will further reduce the oil production.

I'm now on 10g/day, 1 B100 Complex, 2 Acnescript. Been for 2 days.
I don't notice any more significant reduction but my face is peeling a bit more. My t-zone still gets really oily after 5-6 h. I'll continue to be on 10g.

why not use jojoba oil to trick your sebaceous glands to stop producing oil? wink.gif
