It's hard to find spearmint tea here in my area though! Is peppermint the same?
I'm a 22 yo female.

I experienced mint tea's miracle effect on sebum production. I was inspired initially when I read that mint tea blocked androgenic activity in women according to a study done at Turkey. So I thought maybe it could help my skin condition as well as my frontal hair loss. It worked well on me but I never have exceeded 2 cups per day. I'd say don't overeat anything even if it's healthy.
Since I stopped drinking mint tea my skin has been getting oily again. But I got my lesson. This is the second day I began to drink mint tea again. Anyway I will let you know whenever I see the improvement. By

So far I have been drinking 2 cups of black tea and 2 cups of spearmint tea a day. I started a few days ago so hopefully I will see some results in the coming weeks. I am also going to go on a low dose of B5 (starting at 2g/day and eventually moving to 3g/day).
At first I was afraid to mess with my hormones but I don't care anymore.

Hey, did you drink spearmint tea or peppermint tea? That's awesome that your oil production went down!
And yeah sorry this thread is a bit old but hopefully someone knows if peppermint or spearmint is better

Yes I started to use mint tea topically a few days ago. And it is more targeted than drinking it. Combination of the two is better though. I'd say go for it.
