hi...I am trying to ge my signature to link to my log ....so I copied and pasted the URL into te box in 'edit signature' but when I click on it then it takes me direct to the main message board! help me please!!!

Make sure the link formatting is like this:

[ url="http://www.acne.org/messageboard/mirror-friends-t273645.html"]My Accutane log[/url]

Remove the first blank after the opening bracket, I had to insert it to be able to show you the formatting, otherwise it would look like this:

My Accutane log

You can replace "My Accutane log" with whatever text you like.

You can also use the "Insert link" option when editing your signature.

I put that link (minus the space) in the 'insert post link' box!!

Ah, OK, that doesn't work. Just paste it in the signature box (like plain text) and remove the first space. Don't use the "Insert link" button. Let's see if that works.

If it doesn't, try this one:

Copy and paste that, don't use 'insert link,' just copy and paste and update. The url tag is the link, so you don't need to insert an extra one.
