Boots have started selling a range of Eucerin moisturisers called AQUAporin, you can get both a cream or a lotion. I was just wondering if anyone had tried these or can recommend them?
I'm not totally in love with the Eucerin Replenishing Face Cream I'm using at the moment
Anyone tried Eucerin AQUAporin?

I have'nt tried them myself but they look excellent. They also do one with SPF15, though this does contain Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane which is another word for avobenzone, which some people have reported breaks them out.
If you try them let us know how they go.

Hey,
So I was in Boots on Saturday and saw that they still had the AQUAporin on offer (£3 off) so I bought it. I'm glad I saved some money because when I got home I realised the bottle is 20% smaller. Anyway I tried the cream this morning (I bought the Light version) and thought it was really nice, I have always preferred a lighter cream before on the regimen. Its ha a nice fresh smell, sunk into the skin quickly, zero stinging and no shine. I'm working at home today and its overcast so I'm not worried about the SPF.
I'll have to post another update if I try it at night. I'm on week six of the regimen so my dry skin and flakes from BP usage are under control, the Eucerin cream and jojoba have been wonderful so I'm worried about changing too much of my routine at this point.

Hi - Is it the Eucerin dry skin 5%urea that you are using? If it is, I bought this and I emailed Eucerin to ask if it was suitable. They replied.....
'Thank you for your email regarding EUCERIN 5% Urea Replenishing Face Cream.
I would advise that this particular product is designed for the treatment of dry/very dry skin and not for the treatment of acne, however if you find that this product is suitable for your skin then there is nothing to prevent you from continuing the use of this product. This product does not claim to be non-comedogenic (non-pore blocking).'
So just a heads up to be careful, I used it once but I wont use it again after the email - Im to scared!!

Yeah, you're right thats the one I'm using, with the 5% Urea. I've used it for exactly 4 weeks and about 3 1/2 mixed with jojoba oil. Personally I have had no trouble with it apart from some stinging at the beginning of doing the regimen. I'm used it all over my face every night although I only use BP on my chin and lower face with no problems.
So I've looked on the back of my new Eucerin Aquaporin Active Light, and it says:
*Also suitable for sensitive skin
*Absorbs quickly
*Non - Comedogenic
*Excellent make up base
So this one does claim to be "Non - Comedogenic". Out of interest which one are you using at the moment, and do you like it

I recently checked the Eucerin with 5% urea ingredients against a list of comeogenic ingredients and there was nothing in it comeogenic. I've also used it without any problems in the past and seen good reviews on it, so it should be ok.

A lot of people claim its good but I freaked out when I read that reply from eucerin! I tried using the eucerin dermo purifying cream with lactic acid but I didn't like it much. Now im using simple light hydrating moisturiser in the morning and I've started using dans aha in the evening. My cetaphil Lotion has just arrived so may give that a try too but I heard it was quite shiney!!

Yes I know what you mean...Was it you who got the Eucerin Hydro protect from Ebay ? How did you find it ? The Cetaphil lotion is surposed to be very good anyway.

my doc put me on duac a while ago and i had crazy dry/flaky itchy skin so i went to boots to look at some eucerin products as ive been told theyre rele good for dry skin. I ended up buying the aquaporin rich and loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it it worked well for my dry skin and took away my dry patches. Im still using it now but am also thinking about using the eucerin replenishing cream 5% urea as my skin is flaking even more now
