July 7th 2010

I'm sure many of you know how it is to have embarrassing acne. Maybe you don't, but it hurts. It hurts real bad. Just a couple of weeks ago, i was at my wits end trying to find a solution for my acne which Ive struggled with since sixth grade. I'm now a freshman in college and ready to do something about it. As I was trying to do a little more research on my kind acne, I stumbled upon this website. It opened my eyes to hope for a cure to this forsaken disease. With a dedicated forum, the reviews is what caught my attention. Dan's Regimen and his products to be exact. I've ordered them willing to give them a shot... here goes nothing.

Im an 18 year old Mexican American
I live in Los Angeles where my diet consist of nothing but junk food.
I tried proactiv but im sure many of us know that doesn't work /smirk
The only product before this, which ive stopped using is Clean and clear kit. Does a decent job for a couple of hours before i start breaking out again. Ehh
Anyways, i tend to break out on the right side of my cheek more than i do on my left as you can see. I dont have much acne on my forehead nor chin (ONLY CHEEKS! sad.gif )
I also just finished using the product, hence why my face is so shiny tongue.gif

Lets hope for clear skin........

******EDIT*****
Started the Regimen on July 7th 2010

Today is the second day on the regimen
I don't know why so many people complain about having flaky and dry skin when they are using these products. My problem is being to shiny!! Doh!! When applied, i usually use one full pump of the moisturizer. I'm going to start using 3/4 of the pump to see if it tones it down a notch.
Anyways, Second day and I'm already seeing results. Even my mom has complimented my skin... (A real booster tongue.gif ) It's when i wake up when i feel just a bit dry

Basically:
Redness from acne has gone down slightly
i dont know if you can notice... but the skin is starting to heal on the major pimple on my the right side of my cheek.
I haven't really been picking/touching at my skin

This is the fourth day on the regimen. So far, i can't complain. My acne is starting to clear up. The redness of my pimples is starting to diminish and I've never felt this good in my life! I guess my only problem is that I'm through the "Dry phase" which is REALLY annoying. It usually gets very dry near my mouth/lips/chin area. I've read other post about this problem, anyone mind giving me a quick 'get rid of dryness 101" without buying jojoba oil?

My skin SHOULD get used to the BP and settle the dryness down right?

Basically
Acne is being cleared
Dryness is kicking where its a bit irritating
self esteem boost biggrin.gif

Thank you, thank you. I hope it does as well :s

Wowserz! I went out and bought some jojoba oil at my local GNC store and my skin has never felt so good! So moisturized! Even after applying BP! No more tight/dry face! I absolutely love it. Thanks Gyroscope352!
I guess just a few new pimples have arose(Maybe 1 or 2). Nothing too serious though. I'm actually waking up to sorta dry skin in the mornings which i hope will change now that I'm using jojoba oil.

Basically
So far, im loving this regimen.
Easy
great results (I don't know if you guys can tell, hope you can)
jojoba oil works wonders!

Feel free to leave comments or ask questions smile.gif

8th day

Although my gf denies seeing improvement in my skin, i do.
Everyday i wake up with a less redness around my acne, no new breaks out (Maybe just one or two but they go away in a day.) I've been applying Dans BP religiously as many of you might say and haven't skipped a wash. Im scared to do so lol.

My Morning/Evenings consist of Dan's products:
Cleanse face
Apply Jojoba oil to face (5-6 drops if im going out during day, 10-12 drops at night when im going to sleep) to area where i know gets dry fast
wait 5-10 min
Apply BP gently.
wait another 5-10 min
Apply Moisturizer

Basically
Acne is decreasing in size/color. at least is the way I see it neutral.gif
No new breaks out, no major ones
love this regimen :hat

I guess the forums are acting kind of funny but i can't seem to get the right layout i usually like

This is day 10 of the regimen. Although i love the results, very few Survivors refuse to go away. Some are even returning for more(Maybe 1 at a time, but very few. nothing serious). Im still applying the products like my life depended on it.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results I’m seeing. Although I have a minor breakout every now and then, they seem to be disappearing A LOT faster. I’m doing my best not to try to pop any zits, but the white tip bastards seem to ask for it while I’m in the shower…

I guess the only problem I’m having now is that I’m getting a shades darker because my skin is now a bit sensitive to the sun. A few people have actually asked me if I’ve recently gone to the beach =/ lol

My daily routine consist of the mentioned above. Is it bad if I do the regimen 3 times a day though? My skin also seems to be totally used to the BP biggrin.gif

BASICALLY
Look for yourself and let me know if you see improvement tongue.gif

I guess one reason i stopped updating was because i couldn't find the right way to edit in the textbox. i figured it out though! yay for me

August 17 2010

Its been a while since i last updated. But here are my recent pics!
I have not yet missed a day of the regimen and the results are fantastic. Only downside is i've gotten a bit darker due to being in the sun and my neck being very dry. Im starting to add moisturizer there as well. Other than that, this is the clearest i've ever been.

Morning and afternoon/night(When im at home)
Acne.org Cleanser
Acne.org BP
Acne.org Moisturizer mixed with jojoba oil

August 24th 2010

It's 1:30 am and i have school tomorrow. Not very happy with my sleeping schedule.

I was never the type of person to break out between my eyes/nose really. It was always my cheek area. I hope i am done "purging" because lately the area around my nose has been exploding with big monsters. They disappear in a day or two but holy crap are they scary! Lol

On to the pictures! Although i've had a couple of breakouts i have no doubt that my skin is on its way to be clear. With almost 2 months on the regimen, every time i post, i feel like my skin looks a lot better biggrin.gif

I hope the Regimen's been going good for you. Your skin looks more level and even in the last photos, I believe it can only continue to improve!

So i've decided to order AHA to add to my regimen. I've been on it for three days and so far i can't complain. I feel as if my skin is nourished. Note that i only use it during the night

My regimen now consist of:

Morning
Acne.org regimen

Night
Cleanser
BP
AHA instead of the moisturizer

I know it's been almost a month since ive last posted so ill get right to the point. These are the most updated pictures of my progress. Hopefully the red marks left from the acne will fade with the aha sad.gif

EDIT****

I've also been wanting to start Vitamins. I'm looking at Vitamin C and Fish Oil. Does it matter how much mg it is? To start off anyways? I've looked in the vitamins section but cant quite put my finger on it. Thanks to anyone in advance for the knowledge about vitamins

Sorry, no pictures sad.gif
Just thought I'd drop in and update you guys a bit.

This is my 3rd day on Vitamins: Fish oil, Vit A, and Zinc to see if my skin recovers faster. Although i see no difference... i do recall remember feeling very nauseous one of the days. It was probably due to taking them on an empty stomach neutral.gif

I feel as i've come a long away! As I just started the Regimen yesterday! Its been 3 months! Im wishing for the best results eusa_dance.gif
