hmm.. i noticed the site offers 3 type of rollers. One for deeper penetration and another for acne scars..

Is anyone using the one for acne scars and then putting on topicals? Im a little confused on which one i should be purchasing

I and others have the cheapest ones - the other two are for use in a clinic only and are NOT for home use. The top two need numbing creams/anaesthetics. Ouch if you did that yourself!

Hello,

The roller at lipoxidil is for better penetration of topicals, where can you purchase the one for the callogen therapie?Someone using it and what are the results?

It says that the roller plant new cells in the damage skin (ms4) whatabout the cheap one with little needles does it the same?

Thanks,
Lantos

Ultimately - yes. The dermaroller helps the topicals penetrate the skin better, making the collagen building more effective.

keith.. you can use any kind of topical..

Many of us use Copper peptide and Retin A product.. So te dermaroller will help penetrate those topicals to go deeper into the skin

Like many people on this board, I use the dermaroller also and have been for several months....
My skin gets red and irritated from it for about 20 minutes. There is a slight prickly feeling I get from it which is tolerable but not comfortable. I use it about once or twice a week. I am a firm believer in using it with copper peptides though (I just got the SUPER CP serum today). The peptides are better than any topical I have tried including Retin-A and Elicina. One time I had a bad sunburn from a tanning bed on my chest... the kind that would normally peel like a snake... I put the peptides on the burn and by the next day I was fine and I didn't peel..... so I know this is powerful stuff, especially when used in conjunction with other methods.

Ok ive read all the posts here concerning the dermaroller and how it helps topicals penetrate deeper. I still have one lingering concern. Has anyone who has been using the dermaroller for three months + experienced an actually removal or reduction of pitted acne scars? Has anyone's pitted scars been raised to the level of the surrounding skin from use of this cheap device? I am curious becuase apparently after viewing the website it states that the more expensive models are SPECIFICALLY suited for this (ie MS 4).

Hey thanks for the link Stefany. I just ordered the product.....I can't wait to start. My skin looks like an orange peel. I don't think there is one area on my face that doesn't have a scar on it. I have undergone many different types of peels and products to no avail. And worse yet it seems they have thinned my skin a lot making that orange peel look worse.

I am in the US and actively looking for someone who performs needling here. Although it seems to be a new type of procedure I feel it is the most promising for those of us suffering from these awful acne scars. After trying almost everything and being out $1000's of dollars without any positive results I am excited to spend $37.50.

Thanks again and I will keep you all posted on my results with the dermaroller.....

Susie

The expensive models are ONLY available for sale to the mudical profession as far as I am aware.

What happened to those who have tried this product???Any feedback?? I'm thinking about ordering one but would like to know if it's worth buying one or just hiring someone to perform needling on me instead.

I used it for a while with little to no results on scars. Basically, it helps topicals penetrate deeper. This is not like needling at all. Needling is much more invasive, in my experience. The "needles" are so small that they are barely visible on this tool.

I bought two of these. One was a replacement for the first because the needles dulled after a couple of months. I used it for about four months.
Like Tamara...
No change to scars.
